I always hated playing dodgeball because I wasn't good at neither throwing nor catching the ball... but because of my "ballphobia" I was dodgijg the ball like my life depended on it! One time I was dodging the ball as the last player of my team for like 20 minutes straight...

i agree with the fact of watching the first episode of the 1999 verison can add detal to the situation but they should do it after watching 76 not 75 explaining why would be a spoiler so... spoiler ahead : at the end of 75 we still dont know if they got to met Gin or not with the acompagny card, watching the first EP of the 1999 show at this moment will make it obvious the guy we see at the end of 75 is Kite and not Gin, so the "surprise" and the exitation about maybe finaly meeting Gin would be gone, poeple who have to wait for 76 to come after watching 75 know what i talking about x) also this version do still show some flashback who has the same effect (we do spend less time with the character tho) but for that scene to have a real impact we should have them watch ep 1 of 1999 at the begining of the show, then they would have waiting with anticipation the day they will see Kite again ( exactly like in the manga, we see the guy in the begining of the show and cant wait to se him again, kinda how it work with shanks in OP too) well sorry i talk to much as always, all that to said yes watching ep 1 or the 1999 version would add more to the character, but it wont have nearly the impact some poeple expect when watch just befor we met Kite for the "first time" in the 2011 version, and they should definitly whatchg it after 76 not 75 if they chose to x)

If there was a courtroom drama show with Hisoka, his lawyer Jordan, and featuring Jared as the prosecutor, I'd pay to watch that. Also I hope you don't shy away from baby oil and other such jokes despite the controversy. Just plead the fifth :) And one friendly reminder that I suggest watching the first episode of the 1999 version of the HxH anime, after you watch episode 75 but before episode 76 of the current (2011) version. It shows some extra character details that will reduce confusion and add enjoyment to the show.

HxH is the best sports anime! Now that you guys are about halfway through the show, what do you expect of the next arc and the progression of the characters? And what do you think of the writers writing style, in regards as to how he seems to write in genres/themes that interests him for a while, only to completely switch it up for a new topic? Examples being hunter exam->rescue killua-> Bye Bye Leorio/Kurapika as main characters-> tournament arc in heavens arena->let's join Kurapika in the mafia-> Antique Roadshow -> Deep dive into auctions -> heavy revenge drama vs Phantom Troupe-> Let's Play Runescape->Sports Festival->Whatever the future holds? I just think it's a great way to experience a story like this, as that's often how life goes, you never know where it'll take you.

Villains always seems way more interesting to me anyway, writers seem to be able to be more out of the box with villains, where protagonists kind of have to follow the internal code or morality the story has established and get stuck in a box

I don't know who has been fighting on here about hisoka but I was just joking saying he gonna be cellmates with Diddy lol and I also know that situation is serious and I'm not making light of his allegations at all. I'm laughing at him not the alleged victims, anyway hisoka can do whatever he wants, it's a show, good shows have characters that push the envelope and accomplish it's job when you sit and question a characters actions 3 hours later lol most action heroes and anime protagonists we cheer for when seen objectively are narcissistic D-heads who murder people all the time lmao, but because a show throws in something we call context in the middle of all that violence we start cheering for this character
