Not trying to defend his creepiness this episode because he really was being inappropriate while eyeing Gon and Killua, but technically he did not expose himself to 2 young boys. They were the ones who interrupted his bath and because he also knows he's objectively beautiful he feels no shame or reason to hide/cover up. Doesn't make it any less weird and creepy of an interaction though lol 😅 All that being said, I like when Hisoka shows up because he just messes with the characters. He's a masterful manipulator of strategic confusion. Why is he really on Greed Island? Why was he willing to join and help their group? He is lying, but about what? They can't get a good read on him. He knows how Gon and Killua will react if they know his true motives so he twists his explanation a bit. He knows they still don't trust him and can tell Killua is suspicious and wanting a chance to test his theory, but Hisoka's perfectly sneaky Texture Surprise fools the group (even Bisky!) into thinking he hasn't been in contact with the Troupe.

2024-09-22 04:37:12 +0000 UTCyep i swear to god, replace Hisoka by a 12y old girl and Gon/Killua by two 50y old guys and everyone will tell you the creep are the 50y old who stare at a naked litle girl genital, it is not what actualy happen and the action of the character involved in this scene who freak some poeple, it's the fact Hisoka is involve and they have bias toward him since he is a creep who's done fuck up thing... as usual people have double standar and will judge the same action differently based on the character involved in said action and their bias tower them :x anyway poeple cant be objectiv toward character they have an opinion on, if a character they like or they thing is "good" do something fuck up, they will stay blind to his acion or try justify it, and if a character has previously done moraly bad thing, then everything he will do will be seen as bad... as if "bad people" cant ever doing neutral or good action (i wonder if in these poeple mind if a mass murderer was to give food to some starving kid and save their life whitout ulterior motive, did the action of feeding them became bad? since the one who does it is obviously a bad person...) poeple arent monodimensional and "good" character arent either (good as correctly written not moraly good), poeple who can only think binary realy do scare me :x

2024-09-22 03:01:12 +0000 UTCthe fact a character is moraly bad and indeed deserve to be put behind bars doesnt mean you can pin everything on his back, as an exemple in this episode Hisoka was in the wrong when he was staring at Gon and Killua butt, but he do nothing wrong when he was taking a shower... not his fault if some kid come to watch him at this moment, if someone is to blame is the voyeurs who stare at a naked man, not the man who was showering... as an exemple if it was a 12y old girl taking a shower in the wild and some 40y old guy who join her with an acompany card and stare at her genital, you would probably said the 40y old staring at the girl are the creep and not the litle girls showering, wich is a proof is not the action Hisoka doing here the problem but ur own bias toward a character who has shown you fucked up behavior befor... Hisoka hater usualy cant think strait and be objective about thing, of course Hisoka is a creep who deserve to be behind bar for a lot of reason, but that doesnt mean he is responsible for every bad thing is the world and everything he will ever do his by default bad, he cant be blame for thing he isnt responssible just because he is responssible of a lot of fucked up thing... there is plenty of thing he has done we can blame him for alredy, i dont even understand the need to invent new reason to said he his a creep, there is plenty of fact that alredy proves it, no need to invent new one when the guy was just taking a shower XD. also explaining something doesnt mean agree with it, when a profiler explain the behavior of a serial killer that doesnt mean they think what the serial killer do was acceptable or moraly right, why people cant understand we can explain a character action or behavior whitout actualy agreed what said action/behavior ? that goes for evrything not only HXH but only seeing thing from ur own perspective and dont try to understand character who are moraly bad is being close minded btw, the fact a character is "bad" doesnt mean you shouldnt try to understand his motive and behavior... and the fact someone is able to understand and explain a behavior doesnt mean he think the character his moraly good or have done nothing wrong either... if a character is correctly written then his action and behavior should be understandable and people should be able to explain them, even if they disagre with his action, if you are not able to do that either the character is badly written or you just dont try to understand him...

Since he's so analytical, he dominates the time the show spends on internal monologues. Gon on the other hand who's supposedly the actual main character has no where near the same amount of internal monologues. I think it's to show how he's perceived by other characters in the show. He's a character usually driven by his own instincts and morals which makes him very hard to predict. He doesn't think as much as Killua and his actions may be driven by passion, instinct, his own unexplained morals etc. and not by logic like Killua. This may be the reason characters like Wing and Zepile have made comments about him being dangerous, a beast and so on. Gon is very hard to read. As much as we appreciate and respect Killua, Hisoka just read him like a book this episode and tricked him.

You guys had the normal reaction to Hisoka's inappropriate actions towards 12 year old boys when you said "He needs to be put behind bars". A lot of Hisoka fans try to explain away his perverted actions, even when it comes to him exposing himself to kids or checking them out. Kinda weird on their part and that's putting it lightly!

2024-09-21 23:41:37 +0000 UTCHisoka use his texture surprise to change the name in his binder so no one would know he had alredy met the phantom troupe, the same way he used it to change his fortune during the Yorkshin City arc to fool the troupe. and to answer ur question about the nen remover yes he is the "brother" as you said, remember how he survive the mass explosion by removing the bomb on in shoulder befor the trio trigger it (the bomb belong to someone else nen, in this case the bombers and Abengane, (the one you call "brother") do remove it by sumoning the ugly thing who absorb it with his conjurer ability).

Killua thinks he can prove his theory that Hisoka has already found the Troupe and is searching for the Nen Exorcist, if he can see Hisoka's namelist binder. Gon asks Hisoka to show it, and Hisoka agrees. They check it and then contact Tsezguerra. Killua is surprised that none of the Phantom Troupe members' names are in the binder. But in actuality, Hisoka secretly uses his Texture Surprise and change the troupes names in his binder disproving Killua Theory.
