2024-09-20 12:39:07 +0000 UTCI was a bit behind on the hxh reactions but im so happy i finally caught up! and i know we're in a whole different arc rn but can i just say that hisoka going literally PALE at the reveal that Chrollo couldnt use nen, thus him being useless to Hisoka in a fight, like, that made me laugh sooooo hard. omg. good shit.

He's able to use his conjuring abilities to summon a creature that consumes/removes other people's Nen effects, in this case the weird looking lizard that eats the bomb before it blew up. The more powerful and complex the Nen is to remove correlates to the size of the creature summoned. The creature remains with Abengane until the person who placed the Nen either removes/disarms the effect or dies.

Next, the shopkeeper states "you are lucky, we got a huge shipment in" (referring to all the spell cards that got recycled into the economy because they died). Finally, gon thinks to himself "these are the cards they collected" (again, referring to the people who just died).
