HxH - Ep. 50 REACTION! *FREE*

this episode realy show us how hypocrite and selfish Gon can be, on top of having double standar most of the time (as zepile said he dont care about right or wrong, and to me that mean he doesnt have any morality, this episode is the moment i start thinking about that in my first watch). ps: i do love Gon as a character, but i wouldnt be his friend x)

How they broke through the wall - Gon and Killua charge up their Nen with Ren like an enhanced punch or kick and run towards Nobunaga, who gets ready to strike. But instead of attacking him, they broke through the room's walls in opposite directions. I think its the same with how they easily jump up the fence. Lol

Oh that makes some more sense haha

I love this story. But to be fair Nobunaga's goal was the unification of Japan. He was trying to end the Thousand Wars. And got really close, until he was betrayed and assassinated by an ally. I don't believe the ends justify the means, and Nobunaga was ruthless, but the goal at least, in my opinion, was a noble one.

yep Togashi usualy doesnt write manichean character, his antagonist has always being human and relatable in some way, they are never evil to be evil they have a past a goal their own story, ect Toguro and Sensui are probably a big part of the reason why yu yu hakusho is still a great manga nowaday, (that and the fact he have the best turnament arc ever, period).

there is a lot of theory about this showel actualy, but the one who make the more sense imo is the fact they go there in car not foot (since we alredy see kurapika drive a mafia car before) and since it's an unspoken rule for mafia member to always have a showel in the trunk of their car the showel probably come from there, but he could also have brought it, it is unlikly tho given the timeline, he didnt have the time to do so, exept in their journey to the place they fight, and i dont see kurapika or uvo make he other wait to buy a shower in the way x) we didnt see how they get there but we know befor that kurapika was wating for Uvo to the point he doesnt even pick up his phone, so i dont think he take the time to go buy it at the moment ^^

It took long but I counted the word "chain" being used is 17 and "chain-user" 16 times, great reaction as always! ( the one time only "chain" was mentioned without "user" after, was when Phinks talked about how the "chain-user" could have concealed his "chains" at 09:20 (or 10:53 of your reaction)

Iaido (EE-AH-EE-DOH) is the martial art of drawing out your sword quickly, to attack or defend. So Nobunaga as an iaido master was saying he was confident he could cut down Gon or Killua if they step into his sword's range. Also Nobunaga is very famous historically as a ruthless ruler in Japan during the Thousand Wars era. There is this short story to illustrate the 3 famous rulers of that time: A bird said to have a beautiful singing voice was brought to the shogun's court, but for whatever reason it didn't want to sing. Nobunaga said: "If you don't sing I will kill you." Toyotomi said: "If you don't sing I will force you to." Tokugawa said: "If you don't sing I will wait until you do." I'll let you guess which ruler had the most peaceful rule =)

New patron here! Though I followed along on YouTube for your BTS and AOT reactions, I just HAD to join Otaku gold for HxH which is one of my top fave anime. I'm finally caught up on HxH reactions and I have to say you guys have been great so far! Just for clarification, Machi saw the Hisoka vs Kastro fight, not Hisoka vs Gon. So she wouldn't have recognized Gon.

I believe Miwa's simple domain from JJK is inspired by this skill.

The skill Nobunaga used was β€œen”. This skill name means circle in Japanese, so you’ll understand the skill easier asas visuals.

TAKETAKE

Ha! I just saw an internet meme about the coldest anime moments, and it mentioned that Kurapika burying Uvo after the fight meant he had to have brought the shovel beforehand, since they went out to the middle of nowhere. My man was challenged to a fight and goes, β€œHold up, let me grab my shovel real quick.” 🀣

The Phantom troupe is a lot different than most villain groups in the fact that they seem more likable in my opinion. The viewer gets to have a deeper connection with the group as they see both sides of the story (Kurapika and the troupe members POV). One of my favorite characters in the series is Chrollo and you guys haven’t even seen much about him yet, this adds to the layering of character detail the writer intended as the watcher will want to know more. Note: The next few episodes are my favorite in hxh so I can’t wait to see you guys view it as well!
