Catching up with HxH reactions to!!! On the first episode, when you guys said this was a light anime I screamed and laughed so hard 😂 I thought: just you wait hahaha… By now you’ve already seen some twisted stuff, like Wing telling the boys to take off their shirts and turn around and the creepy disgusting Hisoka moment in the fight with Gon. Still, HxH is one of the best stories ever written. You will see a HxH reference in almost every anime you watch.

2024-08-17 18:10:33 +0000 UTCi would add the ref was still completly fair, he give point like crazy to both of them, Gon didnt manage to give any serious injury to Hisoka yet get more point against him than Castro for exemple, so i dont get why some people booed him, is not like we was in favor of either of them... well i guess is just an emotional response impulsive poeple tend to have i can overlook it anyway x)

2024-08-16 21:29:28 +0000 UTCi would never get over the fact the US subtitle translate the name of a city T_T so use to see "York Shin city" (and hear it too) i always feel weird when i watch US poeple react to HxH and they have "York New" written instead x) especialy cause i what i read goes in conflict what the thing i heard, and translate name seems weird to me. that being said yes York Shin city is a favorite fan, their are 2 arc poeple often refer as they favorite, and this is one of those two, (i do prefer the other one though, even if i realy enjoy YorkShin too)

However, us viewers know he wants to see Gon get even more stronger and reach his full potential before he finally decides to kill him..

I’m proud of Gon, he could have easily backed down but we all know that’s no who he is. He’s a fighter. I’m happy he isn’t sad about the fight. I was feeling sad for him but he did accomplish his goal and he did what he could in that fight. Now onto Gon and Killua on Whale Island!!

I sat at my desk giggling and bouncing in my seat like a little kid the entire time lmao. It was a good time. Hisoka is powerful, lives to fight, and his eccentric, yet creepy personality makes him one of the most dynamic characters I have ever seen onscreen, not just in anime. A couple other thoughts: I love seeing the contrast between Gon and Killua. They're SO different, yet manage to compliment each other perfectly. From personality to fighting style to background to their physical appearances, it's a poetic contrast. One scene from this episode that really made me appreciate this is when Zushi is talking about surpassing them in strength and power one day. Killua, cool and confident, says "won't happen," while Gon, encouraging and sincere, responds with "can't wait!" It's such a vibrant, fun dynamic and I'm excited for you guys to watch more! I, too, booed at the ref but it's okay guys haha the dude was just looking out for Gon. He felt it was his responsibility as the referee for that particular match.

2024-08-15 22:18:08 +0000 UTCyes i agree, Hisoka get turned on by worthy oponent, (or when he see someone who has the potential to become one) he might get sexual pleasure through fighting strong people, but he has no interess in sexual intercourse, he doesnt want sleep with Gon (or any other strong poeple for what we know) he want to fight them, the fact he get turned on by that is kinda weird, and Hisoka is meant to be creepy and make people unconfortable, but he is not a pedo, he will not rape anyone, kid or adult, even for fighting consent seems important to him, since he doesnt have any interess toward poeple who aren worthy (run from him dont met is standar, thats why Leorio and Gon pass his "test" at the second phase of the hunter exam while Kurapika who run from him doesnt seems to interess Hisoka). and yes Gon just happen to be 12 at the moment, if he was 30 and have alredy develope his potentiel the first time Hisoka met him, Hisoka would still act the same (well tbf Hisoka would probably be even more exited since Gon would alredy be worth it to fight if he was older and stronger). PS: as usual sorry for my english, hope it was clear enough

Hisoka can't wait to destroy Gon, yet he builds him up and waits. As Gon reaches his full potential, Hisoka finally gets his release from killing him. I think it's this wait for release that turns Hisoka on.

As creepy as it looks I think Hisoka gets excited by Gons strength, will, and drive to keep pushing and get stronger, which I think is why Hisoka continues to let Gon live and grow. Gon just happens to be a 12 year old so on the surface it definitely looks weird as F, but I honestly don't think Gons physical appearance has anything to do with Hisoka attraction to Gon

Hisoka is showing Gon Every sec counts and also explaining the what ifs scenario like if Gon had used gyo it will still be the same. Also love The personality Guess info. For the match, i think The ref dont want Gon to be dead and quickly awarded more points to Hisoka. Hisoka's going to wait till Gon is nurtured, gaining more experience and keep training on Nen then he gonna start 🌟SCHWINGING🌟 again at Gon.
