Last night, we sat down to record our next batch of HxH reactions, and a wonderful recording session.
We turned on our camera…hit the record button on our microphones/screen…read through many of your brilliant comments…and then proceeded to watch 4 straight episodes of HxH (S1 E20-23).
Each episode seemed to get better and better as we went along. Gon doing his thang, Killua doing a bad thang, the BIG 3 doing BIG 3 thangs & assassins doing reprehensible-stomach-turning thangs.
Immediately after saying our final “Be Kind & Keep an Open Mind” to mark the end of episode 23, we got up from our chairs and pressed the “Stop Recording” button on our computer, only to be hit with the on-screen message: “UNABLE TO RECORD” ☠️☠️🤮🤮
The only thing that was recording properly throughout our entire 3+ hour recording session was our CAMERA VIDEO and our (very poor quality) CAMERA AUDIO.
Here’s what we lost / were unable to salvage:
All audio files from our microphones.
All video footage from our screen recording.
All audio files from the screen recording.
Ironically, HxH episode 23 ended with Gon mustering up the strength and courage to get back up after getting knocked down.
So that’s exactly what we’re gonna attempt to do this week as it relates to HxH. We are going to attempt a realignment of certain portions of the screen recording, and an audio enhancement of our camera audio. We ask that you please bear with us this week and be aware that these 4 episodes (1x20-23) will be lower quality than our usual reactions. We feel horrible about putting out content that doesn’t meet our quality standard 🥴🤢 but in the spirit of Gon (and nearly every other anime protagonist we have met), we’re going to KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Though it wasn’t a finale episode or anything, these episodes were some of our favorites so far. We hope you can still enjoy our reactions!

Killua my poor son 🥺🥺🥺🥺. Killua is my favorite just because of how complex of a character he is. Born to be an assassin, but doesn’t want to live that life anymore and only wants to be friends with Gon. All to get his hopes shot down by his brother. He’s just a kid. Let him be a child!!!!!

Illumi walked all over his dream and crushed it so mercilessly. I can’t wait to see what will happen with that whole situation. How long it’ll take for him not to believe everything his brother said and how he’ll return (as a hunter or not). He does have the right to have friends. And yeah he may have been raised and conditioned to not care for anything but killing, but he’s does care and that speaks to his character. He doesn’t have to be that. He’s a kid, he doesn’t want to be an assassin. I wonder how Gon will get to him. As for Illumi…..I hate youuuuuu. Also, guys don’t worry. I had noticed the audio without reading the description and I was just like oh okay something may have went wrong with their recording this time but i acknowledged it and continued to enjoy the reaction. I don’t think it’s going to off put anyone too much. I’m sorry that happened, though. I know how it is to lose work and not be able to retrieve it or in the quality that it was. Things happen, I hope you guys aren’t too upset. Thank you both for a great reaction as always, 2J🫶🏾

XDD I'm so sorry Leorio stans I don't mean to make anyone angry with this statement but I really thought he would be the one taking the hunter exam again next year since he seems like a strong but very normal dude compared to the others

This has been the biggest plot twist in HxH till now.. one of the best episodes so far. That guy had been keeping eyes on Killua all this time with needles stuck in his entire face.. Yikes!! a character as powerful as Killua couldn't even utter words properly in his presence. If the brother is this scary then I wonder how terrifying the parents are? I felt absolutely disgusted at how he was talking to poor Killua.. my heart hurt so much for him when he said he just wants to be friends with Gon 💔 Poor Bodoro.. he was innocent but just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Seems to me that Killua only killed him because he knew he is the one leaving now whether he wins or not and just did it so the competition would be over with and to also take all his anger out. Gon is pissed!! and I can see in his eyes that he'll get his friend Killua back no matter what. Sorry to know about the recording failure guys :( but no worries we still enjoyed the episode very much! Sincerely thank you for all your efforts

And now we get a taste of what Killua has endured being part of a family of professional assassins. He left home to get away from that toxicity, tried to take back his autonomy and build his own path only for Illumi to show up and tear down his progress and diminish the bonds he built with Gon and crew. Once Illumi was done with him, Killua's once bright blue eyes became pits of despair. Sidenote, I'm SO relieved that you were able to save the video files of your reaction. Much love!

You might’ve missed it with all the going back and forth. But when Satotz said that Killua failed, there was a flashback of him covered in blood and a quick shot of someone on the floor (only like part of their head and shoulder). You can tell by the hair and clothes that it was Bodoro. So the whole time you were getting anxious and telling Hanzo to run, I couldn’t stop laughing. Your reaction plus the music during that scene made me feel like I was watching a horror movie for a sec lol Great reaction even if it broke my heart to see Killua suffer like that because of his brother ❤️🩹 Thank you J&J for always delivering top-tier content despite the challenges that come your way!

He's manipulative, selfish, passive aggressive, smothering, abusive, deluded and all around an awful person, he does not deserve Killua as his brother; just an example where the family you are born to isn't necessarily the family you need or want, which is why our very cute and dear Killua shouldn't give up on his dreams and break away for his toxic family! 😠 J&J I loved your reaction, do not worry about the audio issues, it happens, just continue giving us your amazing content. 2024-07-29 23:48:03 +0000 UTCIllumi was so brutal here, he said to Killua "if you do anything i will considere the fight have begun" and "if you DONT fight me, your dear Gon will die" then Killua surrender whitout doing anything or fighting, leading to Illumi telling him "i was joking about killing Gon but now i have my answer, you dont have the right to make any friend" the psychological aspect of these event had to be massive on Killua mind, he know he didnt stand up agaisnt he brother , he knew it would lead to Gon death but is didnt try to fight him at all, in is mind the word of Illumi has to look like the truth :x that's savage

2024-07-29 22:03:59 +0000 UTCget me a while to get used to it :x, i cant said the audio wasnt bad if i'm honest so i can understand why they are upset about it, but i will said the audio issue doesnt matter anyway, i will still watch these 3 episode whitout skiping any second as usual, it will only make the return of the usual audio even better :)
