That Seijo ending always gets me by surprise every time. I always get tears during that IwaOi flashback/declaration 😭😭 Especially knowing how the manga goes, it hits harder.

1:02:30 - it's interesting to hear you guys open up about your past experiences and issues. ive been watching all your anime videos, and all i could think of while watching them was how healthy you two communicate with each other and how you guys are so willing to hear each other out, correct each other, not take offense when being corrected, and apologize to each other so easily. i really like your relationship with each other, because not everybody has that good of a relationship with their siblings. from your stories, i can tell you guys had things to work out, and maturing and getting older probably contributed to that. but i really enjoy watching you two and admire your relationship!

That 6 minute clip with just Seijoh is such a heartwarming and heartbreaking scene all rolled into one. It is very powerful especially the scene with Oikawa and Iwaizumi talking about how their partnership will be forever even if they end up on different teams. I love that Iwaizumi encourages Oikawa to continue chasing volleyball because that is his dream to become the best in volleyball.
Back to episode 25 declaration of war. It is a great episode not only do you have Kageyama and Hinata declaring their war with Ushijima saying that we the team from the concret are ready to beat you and go to nationals which got all of Karasuno very excited and serious. We also had Oikawa's declaration to Ushijima that his volleyball career is not over and that it is just beginning. He also told Ushijima that if he keeps his focus on him(Oikawa) that he will be taken down by a murder of crows( a murder is what they call a group/flock of crows) because even a murder of crows can take down an eagle, but my favourite part was when Oikawa turned to Ushijima and with such a dead serious face said "What was that you said about my worthless make sure you never forget it." man talk about a declaration of war.
Also fair warning season 3 is only 10 episodes so you are going to fly by with this season but it is still an amazing season but for me nothing compares to the importance and epiciness of Season 2 Episode 24 not even the matches in later seasons but that is just my opinion. Great reactions I love them so keep them coming.

Let's remember this: Takeda sensei went from knowing nothing about volleyball to recruiting a new coach and gaining connections with other schools, all while juggling a huge workload as a high school teacher. The amount of work for Japanese high school teachers is insane, even before taking on club activities. They have to prepare for classes, teach, guide students in their assigned classes, having meeting with parents, students, ans other teachers, create and grade exams, and even prepare additional classes for students who fail exams - and they're not paid enough for it. Finding someone as committed as Takeda to run club activities, especially without experience is no easy task. I have experience working with Japanese high school teachers a few years ago and I've seen by myself 🥲

In the original manga, those additional scenes were also only provided as a bonus chapter, not together with the main material — apparently the author&editor were worried that they would take all the spotlight from Karasuno's victory, given how popular Aobajousai (and especially Oikawa) are among the fans x) I'm glad we got to see it though, really gives us more insight into Seijou off the court and a yet another beautiful portrayal of the losing side.

Iwaizumi and Oikawa's relationship has to be one of my favorites on the show, and the Aoba Johsai team is so so special. The last scene where Iwa told Oikawa he was the best partner and absolute best setter is so emotional, and especially so because they were friends before either of them even started playing volleyball, since they were like 3 years old and so their entire lives they've always been intertwined, volleyball or not, and they always will be, volleyball or not. It's so heartwarming and I'm so glad you guys reacted to it!

I cried when Oikawa cried 😭 The Seijoh bonus scene was much needed. Since all eyes are on Karasuno and their journey to the top, getting to see the perspectives of the teams they’ve played against makes Haikyuu that much more amazing.
It hits different when you’ve been with the same teammates for so long. The conversation between Iwaizumi and Oikawa at the end was so heartwarming and was my favorite scene of this reaction!
*wipes tears*
Season 3, let’s gooooo!!! ✊🏽

The Seijoh ending always will make me emotional. Oikawa and Iwa's talk about how they'll always be each other's partners is so sentimental to me and I'll never not cry while watching it. They've gotta be one of my favorite duo's in this show.

I love this scene, even when Seijho isn’t my favorite team, but this shows the different dimensions of the characters.
Iwaizumi (to Oikawa): “I couldn’t be prouder to have you as a partner, you are the absolute best setter. Even if we and up in different teams, those facts will never change. But I’ll still give my all to defeat you.”
This is so beautiful and emotional, because that’s the end of that journey of playing together (since their childhood), but they don’t believe it’s the end of their journey in volleyball.

Hey Hey,
I thought I could provide some insight into the referee situation, as I hold a referee license and have passed all the necessary exams. My perspective is based on my training and the rules here in Germany.
Referees are tasked not only with enforcing the rules but also with ensuring a good game of volleyball. This means that while we must do our jobs, we're also coached to allow some flexibility to maintain the flow of the game. For example, in B-rank teams, we were encouraged to let beautiful plays continue even if minor technical faults occurred. Of course, blatant violations, like holding the ball, are always called, but we had some leeway to prioritize an exciting rally.
Only team captains are permitted to discuss decisions with the referee, and even then, it's more about seeking clarification than arguing. Coaches are not allowed to engage with the ref in this manner.
In higher leagues, teams have the right to challenge a point if they believe there was a mistake, such as disputing whether a ball was in or out. These challenges often involve video or 3D replays that provide precise details to determine the accuracy of the call.
I hope this helps clarify the role and mindset of a volleyball referee!
Also a question: Now that you've experienced your first con, would you dress up for the next one? If so, what characters would you want to go as?
