The original japanese says "wana ni kakattemo uramikko nashi", literal translatin is "No feelings of revenge if caught in trap". As you can see, the subject of the sentence is missing, a common feature of the Japanese language when it can be deduced by context. A proper English rendition would be "No feelings of revenge if one of us gets caught in a trap", but the translator for some reason decided to go with "No feelings of revenge if you get caught in a trap", which got arranged into "No hard feelings if one of us springs a trap". This is one of the reasons machine translation from Japanese to English is especially tricky. Right after this Leorio mentions "Luck is part of the game". There was an earlier mention in the show that luck can be measured as an ability, on the same level as physical strength or intelligence. That is a common thing in Japanese games and anime. Do you agree with that? If yes, what can one do to improve their luck ability? Or is luck simply about getting lucky?

2024-07-16 23:40:55 +0000 UTCI was going to comment this in episode 7, but Netero is a bit different than a traditional “chairman”. Without giving spoilers, he is quite more interactive and spontaneous when it comes to dealing with issues a regular chairman would typically handle remotely and I think that is what makes him such a likable character. P.S: Though Killua is strong, Netero being the chairman should tell you enough about the amount of strength he may have himself, so don’t expect him to be handled with so easily!
