Segment after the credits in every episode that will add some character building and worldbuilding, but is mostly humorous in nature Also after season1, there is a movie that actually is part of the storyline and gives info that will be useful for season2. Hope you guys love this, i just promoted my tier to otaku gold a couple weeks ago to see more reactions. Keep up the good work. And yes, this show is very information heavy as you've begun to see so please do keep pausing as much as you need to! Once you start getting a good grip on all the information shoved at you, it'll be become easier to understand what's happening. Trust me, it gets very hectic! Yuuji's physical abilities are insane from the get go. He has speed, strength, endurance, agility, etc which is why even without cursed energy, ya know before he ate the grimy finger and all, he was able to break through that window in time to save his friends. He's a wonderful character with incredible heart and I'm so glad you guys have finally met him. I am also glad you guys watched the opening credits. It gives you a brief taste of what's to come and of the world you're about to step into. I hope you also watch the ending credits because they're so fun. Starting in episode 3 there are these short light hearted segments that cleanse the palette a little bit at the end of every episode in s1, they're called Juju Strolls, so I hope you guys consider watching those! Quick little reference guide of terms mentioned in this episode: - curse (also referred to as a cursed spirit): a malignant force or being that is born from the accumulation of negative human emotions - cursed object: an item that has cursed energy as a result of it's malicious past, often is a physical remnant of a powerful individual - jujutsu sorcerer: individuals who can see curses as well as control and release cursed energy within their own bodies to defend regular humans from curses

This is the first time someone reacted and paused at hard ticks explanation 🤣 I was worried that JJK would be too difficult for anime newbie, but I think you guys will react to HxH soon, so that will be fine, lol. JJK author, Gege Akutami, is heavily influenced by HxH author, Togashi. Along with other big shonen titles like Bleach, Naruto, and most of the battle shonen in Shonen Jump (the biggest Japanese magazine for the shonen genre manga), but mostly HxH. Even Bleach author, Kubo said to Gege when Gege said he was influenced by Bleach, Kubo said "No, it's Togashi, right?" That's how obvious it is 😂 So, a lot of things in JJK will make sense when you've seen HxH, I hope you'll be patient even if you get confused for now. (and I hope nobody spoils anything by explaining too much without checking...this happens A LOT in the JJK community, they thought they were explaining things but ended up being spoilers) I'm excited about your journey in both anime! The animation by MAPPA is gorgeous in season 1, I hope you guys will like it. EDIT: btw, I started reading JJK manga when it was released on Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018, so I'm kinda old fan of JJK, but I only started reading HxH recently, in 2023 when Togashi did an exhibition in Japan. I kinda regret that I didn't read HxH earlier, it makes so much sense after knowing HxH. Also, JJK in earlier chapters explains things outside of the story, in Tankobon (a manga book that is released after a few chapters and collected from Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine), the author added character backgrounds and additional explanations there, in between chapters (like bonus pages). Other authors also do that but especially in JJK, it's too many lol. They also released an official guidebook (called JJK fanbook) that collects all of the explanations until tankobon vol. 8 (until season 2 in the anime), if you want to know better it is recommended to read it after you finish the show. I think in English it's available online for free, someone put it as JJK wiki. There's no way anyone can understand just by watching the anime, so, just take it easy and enjoy for now.
