Haikyuu!! 2x20 REACTION!

oh good lord here comes the next intense seijoh/karasuno match yet! you know it'll be intesnes when the animators step back into the comic form! (like with Oikawa and mystery number 16 at the end)!

17:10 nishinoya was simply setting the ball, i dont think there is a special name for it (maybe libero setting but i am not sure). so he simply did what kageyama usually does. kageyama wasnt able to set because he had the first touch. as your team gets more advanced you want your libero to be the emergency setter because in that way you dont lose any offensive options. if anyone else like hinata, tanaka or asahi would set the ball the opposing team would have an attacker less to worry about. for example if asahi sets he cant spike. because the libero wouldnt be attacking anyways, you have the same options as when the setter sets. i dont think the show has really explained why nishinoya learned this skill or at least you didnt seem to know so i hope this helps

Did you noticed that when Oikawa did that powerful spike like serve that the ball hit the ground before Oikawa landed and if you did not than why don't you rewatch the scene and it will show you that after the ball moves away that Oikawa is just landing on the floor of the court. Also you are going to see more of that powerful spike serve. Also the player who spike the ball at the end was Kentaro "Mad Dog" Kyotani #16. If you noticed that when Oikawa set the ball he said Kindaichi (the one who wears number 12). Kindaichi was in position to spike the ball and as he went to jump Mad Dog rush over and pushed Kindaichi out of the way risking injuring him and spiked the ball that was not meant for him.

Nightwing

Yes! Great ancillary content to watch AFTER S2 is complete. Highly recommend and could easily be watched in addition to the last episode’s reaction.

Yeah, you need to watch this AFTER finishing the season (please don't do it before). Is an extra ending (6 min.) and is really worth it.

Umi

Kindaichi is the kid he pushed away. This is Mad Dog.

Teater

While a calculated risk, I wholeheartedly agree with Daichi’s coin toss decision to receive. Breaking Oikawa’s serve would provide a morale boost to Karasuno, settle nerves, and set a tone going forward. We have also seen how Coach Ukai takes stats, game play review, and scouting/research into consideration. IRL VB stats show, at higher levels of play, teams score 2/3 of the time when receiving. So, whether it was a decision based on stats or a decision based on controlling momentum, it was a solid call by our captain to receive the first ball of the game. Excellent VBIQ! Thanks, J&J! Next Thursday is soooo far away!💜😭☺️

Kindaichi Yūtarō —> Onion Head😁

Kyōtani Kentarō —> Mad Dog!😬

as for #16 on seijoh, his name is kyoutani kentarou, but oikawa calls him mad dog because of the word play in his name lmao fun little fact, kyoken means mad dog. kindaichi is kageyama's former middle school teammate with the spikey hair. as for my comment last episode regarding the names, did you see mattsun (#2 on seijoh) blocking strategy to hinata's quick, as well as makki's (#3) toss to kunimi (#13) while oikawa just stood there? they're real solid players as well, and they get little moments here and there to shine, although they're not as prominent as iwaizumi or oikawa for obvious reasons, and their display of friendship between all four of them at the beginning of the episode was real wholesome. i love aoba johsai lmao it's genuinely my favorite team on the show alongside karasuno, their dynamics are so fun and they're all solid players. you'll enjoy this match sm, you'll see!

i just realized, has anyone let them know about the Seijoh ending for season 2 so they react to it? if not, here's the link: https://youtu.be/Lao54_hFaA0?feature=shared it's genuinely so wholesome and worth reacting to!! <3
