The one that comes to mind the most would have to be with Kenma! He always feels a chill or something when another person (Hinata) mentions them! It's something to keep and eye out for in the future episodes! I always find it funny!

And when he did his flying receive to save his ball and send it right back to Wakunan! 🙌🏽 Also, when Nishinoya told Ennoshita “Nice receive”. Tanaka was in awe and Asahi mentioned that getting a compliment from Nishinoya about a receive would cheer anyone up. It reminded me of J-Hope and how the members get excited to hear him compliment them in their dancing. Both are masters at their craft so it’s a wholesome experience to see how important their feedback is to their team members 💜

A lot of the words they use while playing are indeed english words, obviously pronounce with japanese accent. Some exemples are: "Don't mind" (as pointed in the reaction), "Nice receive", "Nice block", "Nice kill", "Nice serve", "Nice cover" (they sure like to compliment a lot), "Chance ball", "Out!". Pls take my comment in good humor, I'm just teasing you guys for taking so long to notice 😂

This set of episodes were released on my birthday (June 20th, hello 30!) so thank you for the gift! I want to say that I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed the opening change. I have all the songs on my phone and jam out to them on the daily. BURNOUT SYNDROMES have become one of my favorite j-rock bands. (Can’t wait for the third season’s opening; also burnout syndromes and my favorite over all the openings) These two episodes are some of my favorites as well. Having Chikara come in, he’s in my top 5 characters of this show. And the fact that they want him to become the next captain despite his brief truancy of the club, really warms my heart. The part where he yells to Hinata about “a good jump starts with good footing” made me almost cry because that's exactly what Daichi would say. Which in turn shows leadership too. And then again when Daichi told Chikara about how he thought that he’d disturb the flow if he came back in, because he saw how well they were doing. And of course the “nice receive” ugh, waterworks 🥹 So happy to be back up to date on your reactions! Always a pleasure watching ^.^ thank you

Nice receive! Out! Chance ball! Nice toss! If I had to pick an animal metaphor for Hinata, I’d pick a little, unkempt, rabid, ankle-biter doggo.😉 And, remember Shiratorizawa?! You got a glimpse this ep. They have Ushijima Wakatoshi aka Ushiwaka aka Japan! (#1 ace in the prefecture, top 3 in the country). Ushiwaka is the recipient of Hinata’s bad ass line, “I’m Hinata Shoyo from the concrete…” Thanks for Haikyu!! Thursdays!

On the right court, Karasuno won the first set against Wakunan. But Wakunan fought back and won the second set. Both teams are now onto their third and final set. If the scores are tied at 24-24, the first team to get a 2-point lead wins the game. Ohh, Karasuno's #10 just saved the ball from the bench, and ran back to deliver the kill! What speed and reflexes! Oof, collision with #9.. okay, okay they are fine. Enthusiastic duo, so young *jealous pout* Wakunan is leading 7 to 6. Oh, oh! Nice save by Karasuno's #6, and a rebound, earning them a killer point matching Wakunan! The teams are switching sides at the halfway point of the final set. Both teams keeping the momentum strong, with good attack and defense plays, leading up to a tie. Ooo!! Amazing save by Wakunan #2! The score is now 18-18, and a timeout whistle is blown. The audience is waiting with bated breath to see who wins. Now we see Wakunan with a 1-point lead at 20 points. Great spike by Karasuno #6! Both teams with serve outs, and Karasuno is at match point. Tension rising.. oof and a dump by Wakunan #1! Wakunan's serve, hit the net and its in! Saved by Karasuno's libero! But a spike too late, and Wakunan going for the wipe! Oo! Saved by Karasuno #6, and a final kill by #10! Karasuno wins the game against Wakunan! 👏 The final score of 25 to 23. Great game by Wakunan, another strong team. 2024-06-21 13:48:53 +0000 UTC5:29 I think people always forget how hard it is to aim the opponent fingers to do wipe or block out, or even just for a rebound. In just a split second, with a slight time difference between a spiker and blockers, just a milimeter difference could make very different result. Not to mention that blockers are very aware of it so they'll adjust as well. I always heard, even in real matches, why don't just use wipe, but its waaaaay harder than it looks.
