i wont said he do a better job, i would said both version seems to be very good, you are probably just more sensible and use to this language so it hit you harder, for me it would be the oposite i'm able to feel the emotion and what was portraying way better in japanese since i'm more used to hear japanese, interprete and feel emotion it's easier in that language, the dub seems to do a great job tho, so it all come to one own biais and what we are the most use to :)

I read the manhwa some time ago so I cant remember all the details but I really liked how the story developed and was hooked till the end, even though there were parts I didnt quite understand. Maybe because I didnt play runescape or similar games? In fact I dont remember playing any online games before lol. Anyways, thank you for spoiling us, but remember to take breaks too. 2024-06-16 23:52:57 +0000 UTCFor sure, this anime feels a lot like Ready Player One meets RuneScape meets the Matrix (but a subtle build on that aspect). Things are about to get pretty freaking weird and epic and crazy, guys. I hope yall are paying attention to some of these voices in sub, but more so the dub as well! The english voice actor for the character Choi Jong-In (red haired guy with glasses) in this show also voices the english for Nile Dawk in AOT. Kim Sangshik (the guy who left before Lee Joohee and Song Chi-Yul left Sung Jin-Woo behind) english actor is the same who voices Dhalis Zachary! One of the cool things about continuing to watch more and more anime shows as you go along is that you start noticing similar voices from characters from other animes. It's truly amazing the range and skill of these actors and what characters they are able to portray!

2024-06-16 23:52:13 +0000 UTCthanks for another great reaction! i find it so funny that even though yall don't have experience with a lot of pop culture things, you know runescape which honestly is going to help you understand certain things that are coming. the final scene, ah i wish we could have seen your reaction to Aleks Le too, i do think both VA did fantastic, but it's similar with the VA for Erwin in AOT where it's just so perfect in both languages, with a little bias towards English 😅 this anime is short but just keep in mind they are planning the next season, so the pacing isn't due to the season being short, i think the instant bloodshed and gore just inserts us right into the danger of this world and the danger hunters face when they enter a portal. it kind of takes that step away from the 'it's like a game' mentality because in a video game, if you die you just respawn and try again.

Also I feel ya on remembering these character names, not to compare this to AoT but one of the reasons I felt it was accessible was the fact names were more European based and easier for English speaking fans to remember, even Japanese names would be easier for me since I've watched a lot of anime, this being based off Korean culture does it make it harder for me personally since I don't really know much of Korean culture so I'm right there with you guys when it comes to remembering these names lol
