i dont know, i've always feel going whit the Grisha plan was a good option, i don tlike the euthanasia therm since his plan isnt to kill anyone, on the contrary its a sterilization plan who will allow every one who's alredy born and alive to live they live and die of old age whitout any need for war or horrible death, then it will peacefully end with their generation, whitout anyone have to suffer, make people who can turn into monster unable to have child seems the best thing to do overall for the future of all humanity, anyway anythiong is better than a blind genocide of the entire world to save an island, even if i understand Eren choice based of his character and experience

2024-06-08 10:47:31 +0000 UTCone random thing i really like about jean is how his voice sometimes cracks or just goes really high when he shouts commands to his comrades (usually the last word in a sentence where his voice actor usually puts the most energy in). he pretty much has done this since season 1. i dont know why but i just think its kind of endearing. in this episode for example at 22:36, the word that sounds like "tatak"

Us and all the characters wanted Eren to win, we cheered when he accomplished things, we wanted him to learn. All of that led us here. How's that make you feel? I..have no regrets. At the time what else could they (Paradise) and Eren have done? It was all basically forced on them right? Were they wrong for leading Eren to this point? 🤔

2024-06-08 02:17:02 +0000 UTCThere's so many cool things happening in this intro, the music and animation are incredible. These are the lyrics: "Rumbling, Rumbling, it's coming! Rumbling, Rumbling! Beware! Coming for you! All I ever wanted to do was do right things I never wanted to be the king, I swear All I ever wanted to do was save your life I never wanted to grab a knife, I swear I'm tearless, I'm fearless I'm burning, I'm burning You tell me what have I missed? Still wandering in the deep mist If I lose it all, slip and fall I will never look away If I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all If I lose it all outside the wall Live to die another day I don't want anything, I'm just here to... Beware! Rumbling, Rumbling, it's coming! Rumbling, Rumbling!" The intro shows us that the colossal wall titans can walk any time of day, day and night, compared to the titans that could only move during the day. The opening then gives us a comparison between how things used to be versus how they are now. It shows us Marco, Sasha and other members from the 104th cadets before flashing forward to the day of Sasha’s funeral. It does this again showing us Bertolt, Annie and Reiner, only to flash forward to the present day in Marley, where Reiner is the only warrior who made it back to Marley. My favourite though, is the spot where we see the warriors, and when the camera pans to Porco... we see Ymir (Jaw Titan Ymir, not the founder) in the reflection on the window. The scene of them racing to the tree as kids is so beautiful. All 3 of them are running but suddently only Eren is standing there, alone. He looks the same as he did when he kissed Historia's hand... because ever since Eren saw those fragments of the future, he was put in a position where he had to follow the path that was laid out for him, and if he had told anyone they would have tried to stop him preventing him from saving the island's Subjects of Ymir with the rumbling. The last scene cuts to a butterfly trampled by a regular shoe. To me, this part is meant to emphasize that the world has always been a cruel place, which is an observation Mikasa made a long long time ago.

R.I.P to him and Pixis 🥺 We've lost all the OG commanders. I started to like Gabi back when she realised there were no devils on the Island but the scene with her saving Kaya and Kaya seeing her as Sasha really made me love her character

He didn't take away the hardening power itself. :) When I see the scene where Gabi please to Armin "Not everyone has to die, right!?", it makes me feel so ironic. Because, Armin, Hange and all the other Pradis Eldians were trying to please the same thing to the world. BTW, the parallel between Gabi and Sasha... I didn't see it so much in the first, but now I think of it, Sasha was a sharp shooter, and it looks like Gabi has never failed her shot either. Oh and just for fun, the Otaku community in japan calls Erens "speech ability" as "The path radio". lol Thank you again! Have fun and take care! XD

You guys hit the nail on the head for this episode being about full-circle events. I thought about a couple of other ones too: -Shadis and Surma was definitely an awesome full circle moment but also the fact that Keith had convinced himself that he was but a bystander in life, not anything special. And yet, when the time came, he suited up and resumed the complete badassery he displayed as a scout back in the day; leading those terrified recruits to safety and inspiring them to fight back, even though they had betrayed him earlier. -Also seeing how everyone from the 104th Cadet Class has grown in maturity and skill. Looking back, the class got clobbered during the Battle of Trost. But now we see them masterfully deal with an absolute slew of pure titans with grace, tenacity, and even compassion (RIP Pyxis). It's an incredible foil to the beginning of the series, where pure titans seemed so monumentally out of humanity's league. Thanks again J&J. I look forward to these reactions every day.

2024-06-07 23:18:32 +0000 UTCLet's give it up to that soundtrack when the scouts are fighting against the pure titans, that ish slaps Couple thoughts not necessarily about this episode but in episode 4x21 it shows the flower with ymirs blood on it when she's running through the forest, we see that image in episode 1 of season 1 during erens rapid dream sequence (along with many scenes that ended up happening) before mikasa wakes him up. Also remember he woke up crying, is it possible he was shown his future and didn't realize it then? It changes the whole feel of this story if you subscribe to the fact future eren planned everything out since episode 1. My final thought is about why a lot of titans look deformed or disproportionate. When we see ymir in the paths, to me at least, she looks like a child, so if you keep that in mind then think about a drawing from a young child whether it's your own or a nephew/neice, if a child draws a picture of their family the people don't look like real people do they? I think this is why titans end up looking like how they do, ymir is a child making these monsters through a child's eye

That was a hard scene because I know how they felt about Pyxis. He saved them. Gabi saving Kaya was indeed a beautiful scene. She’s a good kid. There’s been a lot of ups and downs regarding my feelings towards her as a character even in the recent episodes but I do like her. I feel like she’s a character that’s needed because it’s real. She’s just a kid roped into all of this. I’m happy she’s come around and started to care for others as just humans regardless of if they’re Eldians or Marlyians or anyone else. I need to give her her props. She’s a great character, one of the best written in the show actually. And at the end of the day, I would be sad to see anything happen to her. I don’t want to see Falco die. I think either Connie will stop and let his mother rest or they’ll stop him and save Falco. I do get Connie tho and i feel for him. That’s his mom. If he can bring her back, I’m for that, but not in exchange of a kid’s life. If there there was any other way, I’d be on board. He’s lost all his other family, his whole village. He’s lost his best friend who was like a sister to him. He even said that she was like his twin. He has his friends and the comrades he’s been fighting alongside all this time, but there’s nothing like family. His mom is the only family (blood) he has left in his eyes. But she’s already gone. I think he’ll come to terms with that but I hate how much the characters have to sacrifice and go through. ANNIE’S BACKK. It’s like a completely different world from the last time she’s been around. Weren’t they telling her everything that was happening? I thought I remembered Armin talking to her about what was going on, at least up until there was no time to do so. Unless she was able to hear him, it’s like she’s waking up in a completely new world. Now WHEREEEEE IS LEVI AND HANGE!!!!

I love Nicolo’s answer to Gabi’s question and how it relates to the theme of getting out of the forest. The cycle of violence will never end because like Erwin said in Season 3, "Humans will continue to fight one another until the day there's one human or less". Pyxis even said back in Season 1, "If humankind perishes, it won't be because the titans devoured us. We will perish because we annihilated one another". Committing mass genocide might stop a specific population from hating others, but it doesn't stop people from hating each other. Because there's a devil in all of us. Everyone is capable of committing acts of violence and hatred. So what do we do if violence and conflict will always continue? We try our best to not further the cycle and even if we can't, we have to keep trying. It’s a lot harder and involves a great deal of time, patience, and risk, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to achieve it.
