Haikyuu!! 2x11 REACTION!

Comments

Thanks, J&J, for continuing with Haikyu!! reactions. Love Thursdays! In the anime chat, I dropped the only Haikyu!! x Fat Albert internet meme I could find. Someone else out there also connected Bokuto’s catch phrase to Albert’s. And, yesssss! The first mention of my favorite fastidious ace from Itachiyama Institute, Sakusa Kiyoomi! He’s only a second-year and is a Top 3 ace in the nation. Excited for you to meet him.💜

This episode was definitely one of more emotional episodes and why a lot of fans of the series have it as their favourite episode. I do like this episode as well but my favourite is much later this season. Not going to tell you which one yet. The barbecue scene with Yachi was done so well. Here is this sweet young girl surround by tall teenage boys that see feels like she is in a jungle struggling just to get the food she needs to survive and not be eaten alive by the tall, giant titans. P.S. So you saw more of Sugawara's chaotic/sassy moments (that Negativity Begone scene with Ashai and Daichi, Also calling Daichi, Kuroo, and Bokuto pushy Uncles for trying to get Tsukki and Kenma to eat more.) that I told you about back in season 1 episode 9 and there is more chaotic and sassiness to come. I can’t wait for you to see it.

So ready for you to dive into the Spring tournament! My family and I got together on Memorial Day to play volleyball and BBQ. The teenagers didn’t grow up playing like we did so it was a little chaotic at first 😆But it was fun to teach them throughout each set and they made us proud with much they improved in those few hours. This episode made me smile thinking about them and how much we love to play. ☺️ The training camp episodes will always be a favorite to watch! We got to meet more teams, more players and it’s so hard to choose a favorite as you dive a little deeper into them all. Bokuto and Akaashi are definitely among my top favorite characters. I love the setter-hitter pairs and how they seem like total opposites but they actually complement each other really well both on and off the court. Bokuto-Akaashi, Hinata-Kageyama, Kuroo-Kenma, Iwaizumi-Oikawa…their interactions with each other are both hilarious and wholesome. Watching all the players mingle together during the BBQ was also amazing to see! They worked hard, played hard, learned from each other, helped each other to improve and that resulted in some friendships and close bonds to form which makes the training camp episodes even more meaningful.

I love this episode 🥰 the training camp arc is my favorite, of course Bokuto is my favorite character. I like that he's strong but simple minded and kind, he's like a big version of Hinata, with more skills at the moment lol plus his relationship with his team is awesome, especially his bestie Akaashi :) I love how y'all love Yachi. It makes me think you'd probably really enjoy Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoki, an iconic shojo anime you'll probably never watch 😭😭😭

At the end of each season, you guys should do a draft for your starting line ups and a couple reserve players. Would be fun to compare how much your opinions change or your appreciations grow for certain characters.

another great reaction guys! about the moment in the match against Fukurodani, when Asahi apologised for his serve: it's true that it was an alright serve, but the mindset behind it was wrong, thats why Ukai also was a bit unpleased with it. Asahi has been training those powerful jump serves the whole time. They do have a higher risk of messing up, but they are also much harder for the opponent to receive. But because it was match ball for Fukurodani, Asahi didnt want to take the risk of messing up and did a normal non-jump serve instead. A serve that was almost guaranteed to go over the net, but also really easy to receive for the opponents. So he basically played a safe card with that serve. That's why Ukai then says something along the lines of: no one would blame you for a serve that could bring us the victory. Basically, in a nutshell: dont let pressure get the best of you and always give it your all, especially in crucial moments.

Elina

That’s impressive. You are an inspiration 🫡👏😁🇨🇦

All Right 👍🏾 Okay ✊🏾 Thank you again for the shout out fellas 🫶🏾 ⚠️long post ahead lol so to answer the height requirement questions lol the height requirement of 5"11(5'10 with a shoe lift waiver) for men with a max of 6'6 and a min of 5'6 for women was for uniformity. They would create teams of Guardsmen based on height. So all the 6'2 people would train and perform together, all the 6"4 people would be together so on and so forth.. All teams were the exact same height. So that was one of the biggest obstacles I had to get over. Another big one was actually getting permission from my squadron/shop chief to even go. I was in Aircraft fuel systems (flightline mechanic) they could care less about dress and ceremony. They only cared about turning wrenches and fixing jets. At my first base You only had to be a 5 level( Complete a year of training on a specific jet) in order to leave the shop to do a different duty. I had just gotten stationed at my second base as an E-4( had gotten my 5Level on the f-16) and thought I would be able to join right away. They didn't want me to go, even tho I was a 5level from my last base it wasn't on any of the jets they had there, BUT they couldn't tell me no because I was a five level. So they allowed me to go under the condition that I had to get my 5level on the C-130, the A-10 and the HH-60 WHILE I did my Honor Guard training. That normally would take someone around 2 years to get signed off on three airframes. So making me do it in one year would be damn near impossible. So they were trying to set me up to fail. I would rotate one month of training in the hanger learning the jets then one month of honor guard training. It was that year of going back and forth from my shop and the ceremony grounds that my Team leader at Honor Guard put me up for training instructor. He said that fire of wanting to prove people wrong, and get the job done no matter what attitude and wanted to give me a shot. Plus when I got picked for instructor the SQUADRON Commander HAD to let me go because it was coming from over his head😎😎 I was the anime loving, power ranger watching, Blerd from the big city(Philly) who didn't fit in that they now had to recognize. It was a great feeling. Sorry for going on a rant. Hope that answers your question about the height requirement 😅 Stay up fellas ✊🏾
