Haikyuu!! 2x6 REACTION!

ukai's grandfather is great! He explains things well and teaches in a way that is encouraging for improvement even if mistakes are made in the process!

Fake truth…

Such valuable advice from Grandpa Ukai! During my time in college, I played in the marching band and used to play my instrument without much thought. Then our coach emphasized the importance of considering every movement. Additionally, I was advised to carry a stick with me everywhere I went and think of it as an extension of my arms. My teammates and I took this advice seriously and held our sticks with us at all times, even during classes. We didn't necessarily need to play on the drum pad, but we got used to it by touching the sticks every day.

Are we having one episode this week or two as usual ?

Love the Great reaction like always J&J! I played both setter and hitter Roles when I played volleyball so I like how Oikawa is saying kageyama isn’t the one leading the attack but hinata, it’s probably the most spot on thing for pretty much all spikers in volleyball, because while it’s true setters allow spikers to score points it’s the spiker that’s doing a lot of thinking when they are about to score, like where the receiver are, if they should feint, or even how many blockers there are. And It’s because I was in both of those positions that I as a setter understand that it’s not my place to tell how my spikers should hit the ball and where to score like kageyama was doing to hinata when setting the fast like toss to him, but to give them the best toss I could to them so they have the ability to score a point that they know they can win. As a hitter I could relate to hinata when he said he wants to change the way he plays because he doesn’t want to rely on kageyama all the time and how he wants to fight on his own in the air. I was in that position too in my first year in high school I constantly kept getting blocked when I was doing my cross attacks and I could tell it’s not going to work with the same blockers again and again but my setter kept telling me that if I keep doing what I do I will eventually score but I wasn’t happy with just eventually I wanted the Now, I wanted to be better so that when I go against the same blockers they wouldn’t be able to touch my spike. Just like hinata wants to when going against stronger people.

Great reaction, please do more Haikyuu

Watching Grandpa Ukai interact with Hinata, Coach Ukai, and the kids gives us an idea of why he was so famous back then and how he was able to take Karasuno to nationals. He’s strict, but he’s attentive and does well with simplifying the game to where even the kids can understand. Going back to the fundamentals with Hinata was a great idea. When I first watched Haikyuu I was amazed with how much of a beast Hinata was and that’s what I focused on. But as I kept rewatching, I realized that sometimes it can be easy to forget the fact that he joined with little to no experience. He taught himself and only learned through observing and doing whatever he was told to do. Grandpa Ukai is setting down a foundation so Hinata can build on it and work on growing stronger from there. Can never go wrong with going back to the basics 👌🏽 Karasuno is movin’ on up! Despite their loss to Seijoh, despite their losses at the training camp, and despite the fight between Hinata and Kageyama - they continue to push forward. They’re taking everything that they’re learned and are making it their own so they can grow as a team and as individuals.

Oikawa is just a silly little goose and I find him endearing and funny, and he acts his age. Sometimes with these characters they go through bouts of extreme maturity for their age and that isn't too unrealistic but I also like when the writing reflects that these are teenagers just doing their thing and being competitive with each other 😊

I totally agree

I enjoy the reactions. Like I've mentioned many times I joined vip specifically for haikyuu and I'm very happy with y'all's reactions!. I want to ask. As we can see Grandpa ukai Is a real old-school teacher/mentor. I personally really enjoy learning from those types of teachers. The ones who nitpick and demand the best out of you. Don't mistake these types with dictator coaches who talk out of their ass and don't actually know what theyre talking about. Have you guys ever had a strict teacher father mentor etc who annoyed you at first, but you deeply appreciate in hindsight? Have you guys also ever had the opposite. A teacher coach or mentor who acted like he knew what he was talking about about but you knew he was full of 💩. Just curious. Keep up the great work guys I'm sure it's not easy especially with the daily AOT reactions.

I know you guys did not like the way Oikawa at first reacted to seeing Kageyama but I see that as just a mechanism for him because he is still tramaized from his losses to Ushijima and to keep himself from lashing out like he did in middle school he acts immature around those genius players like Kageyama and Ushijima. Then you noticed right after that he gives very good and sound advice and also points out the very cause of the problem and that he is looking forward to seeing Hinata actually do the freak quick with his eyes open. I also noticed that you while you mentioned aboubt Grandpa Ukai talking about the different tempos and how you would like to see that. I think you both missed the one important thing that both Oikawa and Grandpa Ukai pointed out to both Hinata and Kageyama, and that is the one who has the leadership in the attack (no matter what tempo it is done in) is the spiker not the setter. What did you guys think about that since you did not mention it at the end of your video, I figured that would have been something you would have talked about as well. Great reactions by the way they always brighten up my day no matter what is happening in my life I am always left with a smile on face at the end :D

Hey guys! Loved the reaction! I enjoyed hearing your DJ story from your college days! If you remember the DJ’s name, I would love to know!

Finally, A Haikyuu reaction! I had a day off yesterday so i binged watched all the AOT season 3 part 2 reactions to catch up and it's safe to say that it emotionally drained/damaged me. It's time for some healing with haikyuu 🥰 Season 2 of Haikyuu is my favorite! I love how all the boys are trying new things to improve themselves. It actually takes some courage to try new things. Sometimes, there are people who are too scared to get out of their comfort zones, so they remain stagnant and sometimes, there are people who are too arrogant to accept that they are lacking skills and in the end they never improve themselves. Great video guys, I'm looking forward to the next episodes 😊

I actually find oikawa's reaction very endearing. Puting this comment to defend my fav character Oikawa. Oikawa probably dosent want to give advice to kageyama cuz the most obvious reason is that he's a rival but you have to remember that oikawa also perhaps still have that lingering 'hate' for "genius" athletes (like Ushiwaka). I would even categorise it as a kind of trauma for him and his immature reaction or free spirited personality could also be another mechanism for him to mentally stay positive or probably not resort to violence towards his rivals. although I don't think he is violent in nature, the previous time he almost wanted to hit kageyama was probably just him under pressure and kageyama was at the wrong place and wrong time and approached him at his breaking point. Well despite him trying to dismiss kageyama, you can tell that deep down he definitely is a true sportsman who wants to excel fairly and defeat rivals based on their true abilities because he still answers kageyama's question with pretty good honest advice. If he wanted to, he could have just ignored kageyama or even worse, gave fake advice to his problems. Instead, he pinpointed the root cause and made kageyama reflect on his actions not just towards hinata but as a true setter. And speaking about the science aspect of sports. I think Oikawa is such a good representation of that. He became "genius" status just on the sheer dedication to practice and the hours he's put into understanding the game (since he is not considered as the few genius/naturally gifted players).

I can’t wait to see you watching the future episodes. It becomes more interesting and each member’s developments are amazing and inspiring to watch. I think this is my 5th time watching haikyuu and i still want to see them like they’re real people. Watching the boys again with you guys makes it more enjoyable. By the way you two are so handsome too.
