2024-05-03 06:14:46 +0000 UTCOMG I say YESS to Naruto!! Pleasee...also considering how long the anime is, it really is a good idea including it in the otaku gold category. I might upgrade to Otaku gold just for thisπ Btw since there arent many eps left for Death Note too,after you finish it, my suggestion is to start Code Geass, which is one of the best anime when it comes to important (politics/society/morality/family) themes, better than DN for me personally, though I love them both. I suggested Code Geass also because of its genre being kinda similar to DN, as Im thinking that it will be good to keep these introspective/questioning morality anime for Monday and light hearted ones like Haikyuu for Thursdays and heavy hitters/extremely popular shonens for Friday, not sure how to exactly classify AOT and Naruto but it just makes sense to have Naruto (especially Naruto Shippuden) as AOT "replacement" because of a lot of different reasons

This made my week! Iβm so excited to see you guys watch this season! Also, that diving lap penalty always brings back volleyball practice memories! My coach would make us do suicides (running line drill) but we had to dive at each line instead of just touching it. It was the team punishment when someone messed up a serve, a hit, or let the ball drop without attempting to go for it. Sheβd tally it up and at the end of practice (or sometimes a game as a way to make us play harder), that number would be the number of times weβd have to run the drill. Fun times π«

I feel like season one was a great introduction to the characters and getting to know the basics of volleyball. Now we finally get the more technical side and get to explore different plays. Can't wait for your reactions to seeing this change and learning all the different styles and plays volleyball has to offer.

(fukuro = owl) Their ace, Bokuto, and their setter, Akaashi, are two of my favorite characters in the show and their relationship itβs so funny and wholesome. As a curiosity, the names of some Nekoma players refers to a felines, as you have seen Lev means lion, Taketora (the guy similar to Tanaka) is named Tora by his friends and that means tiger and Kuroo (the captain) refers to a black cat; but in the other hand there is Inuoka (the boy Lev replaced), inu = dog, so we can say heβs an infiltrator hahaha π€£π€£

Sort of give off the vibe that being at the top level isn't so much about talent but rather having a routine/standard you hold yourself to. Which leads me to ask; have you guys had someone you saw as super talented without trying, but later realized that this person puts an extreme amount of focus and intention towards being great in that field? Love the intelligent reactions and perspectives you guys have btw. I look forward to these every week. Thanks!

There was a Japanese national player who took a picture with Haikyuu panels that displayed the characters' real heights, and he was so huge standing next to them. (He's about 204cm, 10cm taller than Lev) When I took a picture next to the same panels, I was much shorter than them π€£π€£π€£
