The anime I was into growing up was Nadeshiko, Parallel Duel, Lain, Death Note, DBZ, Naruto, Golden boy, (It be funny see people react to that old classic) Hikaru no Go and Kenshin. The newer anime is hard for me to get into. I like D.S and JJK and a bit of H.A but couldn't get into chainsaw man or this anime. I watch this because I love the twins reaction. But not a fan of the anime. People think the anime I like is boring. It's all about taste. It's puzzle me on why so many people like this anime so much. But I kinda get it.

This entire episode, I was on edge because I just felt like something painfully tragic was coming. Then it ended on a optimistic note (before that glitch scene) and I felt like “okay, something is most definitely coming”. It was just tooo calm and then the conversation with the big 3 about the beauty of the world outside the walls. Something is about to happen and I’m not ready for it. That glitch scene didn’t help either😭 I’m actually kind of terrified of the heartbreak I feel like I’m bouta go through. Also GUYS I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! It’s not right, ofc, because he’s dead but whoever the beast Titan is reminds me of Erwin’s dad so much. I thought I was crazy but it’s good to know I’m not alone in that conjecture lolll. I think both rappers are warming up but this casual style benefits Drake. I still think Kendrick has way more to show and going hard benefits him more so I think he will win but I was personally disappointed. I wouldn’t play “Euphoria” like “Like That” or “Push-Ups.” I think he shoulda came out with something harder and more direct instead of another type of warning shot but the lyrics don’t disappoint if you hate Drake and all the basic shit everyone already has said about him.

After this episode and with everything you know about how Erwin leads as commander, do you guys feel any different about Erwin now compared to when he was first introduced? My reasons for asking this is because at first when we meet Erwin, he seems like a man whom we'd respect, and for good reason, he definitely is a leader and has done more than most for humanity. On the other hand, once we know the character more in depth, we see he really has a cold hearted side where he's willing to lose the lives of scouts for one of his "gambles", plus in this episode he's more obsessed about proving his father right that he admits it's more important than humanity's victory over the titans when he was speaking to levi. So I'd like to know if you guys see Erwin differently now compared to when the show introduces him. Thanks and I will cry and with a big tub of ice cream in a cold shower when these reactions are over. Take care broskis

It's been his entire life's goal to prove his father's theory right - which is finding the truth of their world. The scene between him and Levi is meant to show you that for all Erwin's speeches about "Giving your heart for humanity", he himself puts his own dream above that. We had a similar scene back in the carriage with him and Zachary.

This is not helping the anxiety Im feeling, and no..did not see that glitch coming. But the idiot took over..and I rewatched.. *sigh* I feel drained, despite having so much to say. Im typing this out on the fly: 1. The box - way I see it, this being potentially used on one already seems set in place. Not Erwin nor Hange but Levi, bearing this ‘burden’ gives me this gut feeling that if/when it happens, its gonna be an extremely difficult choice to make. Thats the sense Im getting after watching the end-credit scene. That dont look like Levi’s blood, cos’ its steaming. The marks on Eren’s face tells me a battle might have just ended. Seeing two charred bodies on that roof..nah ah, I dont wanna make guesses. 2. That glitch - that was horrible. Only stuff I caught was a woman, a shoe, burning photo of same woman, door, dead titans, conch shell, key, bug, that freaky smile Titan, serum, Beast. 😮💨 horrifying. ✋😣 no thank you. Nightmarish indeed. Awes outro btw. Apart from ☝️, 1. Reaffirmed what I suspected - Likely came from outside the Walls, power of the Titans, couldnt say. Not sure who the other three in the room are, possible squad leaders. 2. Feels like its the first time I see Levi being rather adamant about something/ one. Probably due to Erwin’s wound, but just feels different to me somehow. Erwin acknowledging that witnessing whatever might be revealed, is more important than humanity’s victory. It makes me think hes mirroring the ‘incredible resolve’ that Hange spoke about Grisha just before. But these two’ve come a long way, how close they have become. Like Levi’s, Erwin’s smile is precious. I did say this feels different didnt I? Yeap, still there. 3. MEAT should have been added to the title of this ep 😅. Sasha almost going cannibal, that punch to Marlo. Same position, different reaction- Eren/ Armin/ Jean 👏 Call me weird, but one of the funniest scenes was when you can hear Jean barfing at the back, and Levi saying ‘and clean that up’ 😂 4. Its only been four months huh, didnt feel that long ago, but felt long enough. Them being reminded of Hannes was heartbreaking but yet, they spoke with resolve and hope. Hard to watch our guy Levi sitting alone near them but hidden and listening in. Maybe nostalgia, or sense of closeness to his squad. 5. The cheering and shouts of support from the people, heartwarming. Levi being shocked by Erwin’s roar in response was funny. But for a man whom Ive never seen smile before, actually smiled for the second time in this ep.. I dunno what to feel actually… 6. Then, my smile dropped seeing whos on that wall, waiting.. is that a new person or Bert? Not that I dislike them or anything, its just the dread feeling of whats to come.. 2024-05-01 02:47:31 +0000 UTCquick spiel but erwin admitted to his ultimate goal being pretty selfish early on in the season, in that carriage while talking with zachary right after he dodged the guillotine. and in this room, in the scene with levi, he admitted it again-- that being there when the truth is revealed is more important to him than his legs, and more important to him than the survival of humanity. he evades admitting this sometimes (ie. when he brought up this being another gamble of his and levi shut it down) but other times he's not very secretive about it. he's a layered character, AOT excels at writing gray morality. he can be both for humanity and for himself, so nothing said in that conversation is currently contradicting his character impo

Nobody can deny that Erwin fights for humanity, but he also cares about finding the solution to the mystery of their world. When these come into contradiction, he's forced to manage them against each other. This kind of character is so real, in my opinion, that it can seem out of place in fiction. We are used to seeing idealized, non-contradictory characters, but in reality everything is full of contradictions. Everyone has their own personal reasons for being in the military, for fighting the titans. These personal interests aren't always harmonious with what their duties demand. When they're put against each other, which will they choose? Erwin and the survey corps have a long history of choosing their duty to humanity over themselves, but how far does that ability go? A character who never encounters these realities is purely imaginary. AOT shows real people dealing with real problems, and what they choose in each situation is the real content of the show.

Humanity’s fate, at this moment, has become secondary for Erwin. I find the closed-door scene between Erwin and Levi gut-wrenching. In Levi’s own round about way, Levi was asking Erwin to stay back for him; Levi again trying to mitigate the risk of abandonment. Give Levi all the peace, love, and security in the world!🙏🏻☺️ P.S. If I remember right from the time, when S3 started it was believed the whole season would air consecutively, but at some point the studio realized there wasn't enough time to complete the second half of S3 (and make it look as good as it does) so it had to be delayed. The airing of the next 12 episodes were pushed back 6 months. The credit glitch was the teaser sendoff we were left to think about while they polished what was to come.
