2024-03-28 23:17:17 +0000 UTCThe reason for Oikawa wearing a white knee brace has been a debate in the Haikyuu fandom for years for some odd reason but just FYI a knee brace is worn after an injury, yes, but also can be worn just for support too since he does a lot of jump serves. It's been stated early on that he had a sprained ankle, not a knee injury.

About Oikawa's "I hope [Karasuno] go for broke": I think the manga translation there is a bit better β "I hope they'll give it their all when we beat them tomorrow". A veiled threat/challenge x) If memory serves, the only difference in the captain's uniform is that their player number is underlined on the chest. There are also some traditions having to do with numbers β many team captains are no. 1, and in some schools aces get no. 4, but that's not anywhere in the rules. This game is great, but if it already gives you nervousness/anxiety, I am so looking forward to seeing you react to the later seasons :"D
