I will probably get back to it at some point. There's too many anime series that I want to see and not enough time. 😭

I just wanted to say, don’t feel bad about not recognising characters or plot points. I’m pretty sure the creator who made this video has watched every anime under the sun so he picks up on things quite easily and he has a podcast with his friends where they discuss Anime. Also when you’ve watched a few shows, you start to anticipate certain things and it becomes easier to distinguish anime characters. Additionally, you watched the show pretty quickly which didn’t give you enough time to dissect the episodes and find the little clues. Usually, we have a lot of time between episode and season releases to theorise about the show. A lot of people will make comments like, ‘how did you not know?, or ‘you’re just faking it!’ Please ignore them and just enjoy at your pace. Also AOT is one of the few shows where even the most seasoned anime fans could not figure out what was going on until the show provided the answers so those people are full of it anyway🤣. I love your videos and I can’t wait to see the rest🥰❤️

I believe you've watched some of it already? not sure, anyway, he did the same thing. He imitated and internalized each member's characteristics and personalities which is why his dubbed videos are so entertaining. Similar to this one, the creator embodied each AoT character's personalities and added humor perfectly :D

It's hilarious and the story line is fantastic. It's another uniquely gold anime that has gotten a lot of love from it's fans. An older one, but still good.

I watch it because I am curious what sort of off the wall shit is going to happen next, haha. I am pretty sure the, "Another day for the survey core," gag is from Family Guy. That's what the voice sounds like. The music is Senfeld. I am pretty sure Family Guy has an episode making fun of sitcoms with that line, though not specifically survey core, of course. It would have been an older episode of Family Guy though. I haven't watched the show in years, but when it first came out I watched every episode for a while.

2024-03-25 21:37:36 +0000 UTCi’m not too sure about the erwin joke, however these are a few of the other references: erens’s “ that’s my secret cap, i’m always angry” is a line said by the hulk. right after that, armins “oh god eren, just shut up and get in the goddamn titan” is a reference to another anime called “neon genesis evangelion”. it’s a line from it slightly modified to fit the context of the parody. the series is highly revered in the community and something of a cult classic. the jojo’s jokes refer to “jojo’s bizarre adventure”, another extremely popular anime, and a bit of a unique one regarding many things. there’s many memes originating from it, you may be able to recognize a few if shown. i may have missed a few but those are the ones i immediately recognized :)

When an anime starts, the manga is usually way ahead and when a season ends, people usually go to the manga to find out what happens next if they can't wait for the next season. (because of the amount of time between seasons for AOT, I'm sure a lot of people went to read the Manga) During the scene of Levi hitting Eren - The term Fujoshi is used for women that enjoy watching Male/Male romance, and often are rooting for Male/male couples that aren't cannon. In this case Eren and Levi (which yes, it's a very popular FanFiction pair.) The whole Erwin thing with Seinfeld is just a meme of using the end credits of a sitcom to basically label something that is said as clowning. Basically saying the Survey Corps are a clowns because they always get their ass kicked. When Armin tells Eren to Get in the Titan ... that's a reference to Neon Genesis Evangeleon (a classic anime) I'm sure a ton of anime super fans giggled (Myself included) The whole skit about a Jojo's Reference is something that is part of anime culture now (and very much a part of Gigguk's channel) Jojo's Bizzare Adventure is a super memeable anime and for a while there it seemed that everyone was making fun of it... and so the phrase "Is that a Jojo's reference" is a thing that was used so much it became a meme in itself. Just know that whole part is mostly a shout out to his own audience.

This is the first Patreon I've subscribed to, and I really had to save money to subscribe. Unfortunately as you've limited the access on AOT reactions, and due to extra fees I cannot afford, I think I have to unsubscribe as this is the only series I have watched and hold dearly. Nevertheless, hope you guys continue on watching, I'll just wait on the Youtube reactions once they are released. Cheers! JBA it might be my favorite anime, i think i like it more than attack on titan but attack on titan is better(subjectively i like JBA more but objectively AOT is higher quality/better storyline/characters and much more). I recommend your next anime to be JBA after your next anime is done, if not you should put it on a series to watch list

Almost every anime fandom has a portion of its own Fujoshis XD

They’re already covering 6 episodes per week, it’s not like an extra 2 will be slowing them down much. And watching those 2 at any other times doesn’t make sense. Watching them after finishing the whole series would just be weird
