This video is not working, it keeps saying incorrect password so I can’t watch it

Michelle

That was very helpful. Thank you.

Daphne

If you guys are having trouble with the password, I recommend copying the link into your own browser then typing the password in yourself instead of copy pasting it. Hope this helps!

Sariah Merritt

I haven't watched early AoT in a long time. I forgot how intense the show was. Even though I've seen it before my heart is still pounding. I'm so glad you decided to go with this show, for the reaction, and as a reminder of how good the show is.

Desdemona

Oh nooo! Honestly, I tried to change devices for the browser advice and that worked but otherwise I have no idea 😭

RiRi

that isnt working for me at all

Concepts94

Having issues getting the password to work..

Chisom Madueke

just dont watch it.. just too risky

KornSirkel

OMG Thank you so much! It worked!

RiRi

don`t click on the link, copy it into ur browser

Lufttwafe

Nooo don’t tell me I’m the only person having a problem getting to the video? says password is incorrect. 😭

RiRi

Yes! But watch in incognito mode, otherwise you'll get a bunch of AOT spoilers recommended. Even some of the thumbnails contain spoilers on YT

MV

YES YES PLEASE I REQUESTED IT TOO..Watch it right after season 1 :)

its_aliza

GUYS PLEASE WATCH AOT IN 9 MINS BY GIGGUK after Season 1! Since ya'll rewatching the episodes in dub, it would be awesome to get you two to react to that right after season 1

IQLou

Thank you azuremorpho 💜

Lynn #7

yeah the (6) means its the 6th part of this arc. this arc was the 57th expedition beyond the walls which stretched over the last 6 episodes. so all the episodes within this arc are called " *insert specific episode name*: 57th expedition beyond the walls" edit: damn Kevin beat me to it, so yeah what he said lol

Bjarne

Pretty sure they were trying to convey levi had feelings for Petra.

Goatchis

Anime finds countless ways to break one’s heart and make one weep. Just one of the reasons I love this art medium so much. And I miss Petra.💔 RIP Levi Squad.

antionette7

Aww thank you Kevin 🙏🏻💜 You’re right, I appreciate that note and info. I dont see that kind of indication in other anime series (the ones Ive watched at least). Or maybe I havent seen enough to know about that haha! Makes it all the more mysterious and I love it!

Lynn #7

Important comment!

Senor Confused

Yes it is an assumption but - Levi having as much feelings for Petra as the rest is also an assumption. Just working with what we saw. We saw Levi take Petra's badge, the show took out time to show Levi looking back at Petra's body. Either way, it's a common assumption among the AoT lore that something was there - whether if it was Petra having feelings for Levi and Levi recognizing it or Levi having buried feelings. You can google it.

Senor Confused

Season 1 finale (Ep 25) has an end credits scene which is crucial to watch prior to entering season 2, make sure you dont close the video until it is completely over

Sean Carroll

"Does it get any crazier than this"?? Me: Bro season 1 were the good old days, at some point youll look back and say you had it easy in season 1

Sean Carroll

I always look forward to Lynn’s comments since I learned they’re a first time watcher. It’s like a little bonus reaction haha! And yes, the (6) means it’s Part 6 of the arc. Generally you shouldn’t know how many parts there are ahead of time. First clue you have that an arc is continuing is when you see that title card. I believe these part numbers are actually only a feature of Season 1. In future seasons they no longer show up in the titles

Kevin

*first time watcher* 😱👀😱👀 LEVIIII! Holyyy sh...what was that!! I couldnt keep up with his movements!! Omgosh the scenes after they rescued Eren..that was painful to watch to say the least 😣😣 I dont think I will be able to rewatch this episode even with J&J..its too real 😢 Level of respect for Erwin and Levi, just reached a new high at this point man..🙏 and alot of mixed emotions..Im scared of whats to come next 😮‍💨 But curious about a small thing though, around the 5-minute mark, the title had a "..(6)": I assume its like part 6 of an arc? Is it weird if I ask how many parts are there 😅 I didnt google or read anything..

Lynn #7

Every time one of these reactions ends, I wish I could watch the next one right away. You guys are so entertaining to watch, not just from your reactions but the depth of theorizing and discussion. A show like this was made for you two. Also Jared, if you love shows like this and Black Mirror, I bet you’d like Lost and Dark, too. Along with AOT, they make up my top 3 of all time and even if you don’t react to them, watch on your own! I think you’d get sucked in.

Kel

Great freakin reactions fellas! Can we all just take a sec to appreciate Levi's character?? Mikasa was holding her own against the Female Titan which showed how elite she was, but then we see Levi absolutely obliterate her which let's us know he's truly in a league of his own 😭 and just how strong is he not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well?? He literally saw his entire squad laid out, yet continued the mission like nothing. Btw, he snapped his ankle saving Mikasa which shows how much he actually tries to protect his people. And then him telling those 2 dudes that "dead is dead with a body or not" just makes him seem so cold hearted. And giving the order to dump the bodies just supports that even more. But we quickly see that he truly does care about his troops. He gives Dieter the patch that actually belonged to Petra, but he told him it was Ivan's. He puts his soldiers 1st and is truly worthy of being a captain. We can't even imagine the pain and suffering he keeps to himself. And this is why he's my favorite character OF ALL TIME 🔥

Val

Levi has as much feelings for Petra as the rest of his squad members. What you said is old misleading assumption btw

A J Chandra

Few things that might have been missed: 1) Levi injured his foot when saving Mikasa from the female Titan as she was going for the kill and about to be potentially caught. 2) Levi was taking the survey corps badge off of the corpse of Petra. 3) When they were tossing out the bodies off the cart, they focused on a specific body, it was Petra. We saw Levi looking back at it. With both this and 2), we assume Levi may have had some feelings for her (this is a debated topic in the AoT community). Other thing: AoT has something called OVAS, which are separate episodes which build lore to the story. One of the OVA is called "No Regrets". It's about 2 episodes and shows a partial backstory of Levi. Highly recommend watching it - maybe take a poll with the community to watch it before season 2. Never forget the humanity of this show. It is scary how relatable AoT is to real life, especially in today's world. You'll come to understand this much later on. Stay awesome!

Senor Confused

I cried so much watching this episode, because when I realized that the patch Levi gave to that man, wasn't Ivan's, it was from Petra's uniform, I couldn't hold back my tears. 😭 😭 😭

Flor M.

agreed with every word you said my friend

its_aliza

honestly my favorite episode this season, it is so touching. Especially regarding Levi's and Erwin's characters. The way Levi treats death and how much he grieves the lives around him, it honestly makes sense why he doesn't want to get too close to those around him because of how often people die. You wouldn't think someone like him would be so sentimental and take off the wings of freedom patch from his comrades to remember them. Im sure others have said this but the patch that Levi gives to the soldier is actually the patch he was planning to keep from Petra (he's seen trying to remove it from her dead body earlier). Giving it shows that as much as Levi would have loved to keep it, he understood that the soldier needed it more than he did, even if it wasn't really Ivan's. Erwin's character is also so intricate and detailed. Like Armin said, "If you can't sacrifice anything, you can't change anything", and Erwin has chosen to sacrifice his humanity in order to bring change and learn about the Titans. Even though we know this, we still see him struggle. In the episode where they capture the female titan, he says something aligns the lines of "an eye for an eye" before firing more grappling arrows at the female titan after Levi informs him of the lives lost. as well in this episode, seeing his expression after being told he doesn't have any human feelings. I think it's also important to point out Levi and Erwin's character design. Levi is short and "sharp" looking with his squinty eyes and inky hair. he also rides a black horse, these traits are typically in characters that are untrustworthy, heartless, and cold, usually antagonistic. However, this juxtaposes his character because he is actually extremely caring and devoted to the cause. Erwin on the other hand is a prime example of a perfect soldier. Tall, well-kept, blue eyes, blonde hair, rides a white horse, all traits usually aligned with purity, trustworthiness, and a rule-follower. However, he seems to be the one to always disregard usual protocol for more knowledge and the one who throws aside his humanity for his goal, no matter how many die in the process. The writing in this show is genius,

Muh-la-lay

Went back and watched it lol

Tortellini

What a heartbreaking episode. I just had to sit and cry after it ended and then I finished listening to your thoughts. It really hurt seeing Eren cry like that at the end. I think it may have been the first time we saw him really really cry so I felt like I wanted to just hung him. Imagine the guilt he’s feeling and also the weight he must feel on his shoulders from having this power and still being defeated. Not being able to save his friends. And then to be turned over!?! They just keep digging the knife deeper. Right now what I’m feeling is a huge sense of defeat so I’m with Jared on the feelings and the title. Also I’m feeling a little bit of denial. I can’t gripe with the fact that the show has to continue with the Levi Squad gone. And it’s crazy to me because I liked the characters but it’s not like we had a longggg time with them uk, like they were here from the very first episode. They were characters that came in not too long ago but you just get attached right away. And I, for one, didn’t notice how attached until they died. And now it kinda feels like the end of an era. Isn’t it crazy to think that I’m feeling this way about fictional characters in a show? That is the power of good, solid writing and as someone who wants to be in a position to write stories one day, I can only wish to craft characters this well.

Kia

another episode showing us why levi is the best character in this whole series 😭

maria

"this show has a way of ripping you to pieces" i hope you lowkey intended that pun hahaha but yeah this episode always hits in the worst way. RIP LEVI SQUAD

silly goose

I live for Captain Levi fight scenes!!!!!! Seriously though, I can watch a whole episode of Levi just fighting Titans!!!! The man is a freaking B A D A S S !!!!!!!! ❤️‍🔥 But yeah what a heavy and defeating episode!! Experiencing what they had to go through during that expedition only to be welcomed home with mockery and contempt by the citizens and the pain of facing the families of the fallen soldiers... i cant even imagine what it must've felt like

nikki

that moment when he sees Petra getting dumped out of the cart, man that breaks my heart every single time!! how big of a person he is to think about Dieter's grief first and comfort him rather than think about his own pain. The man lost his entire squad!! Imagine how that felt! 😭

nikki

Guys please don’t sit here & try to explain/point out every little thing. They said they’ll rewatch the series again on their own time once they are done with this round. Maybe even more than once. So missing a few details here & there will be a nice surprise to catch the next time around. It’s okay if they miss details or don’t remember things. Please remember the very first time you all watched it. No one was there to point out things to you & i’m sure most of you watched it alone or with someone who probably didn’t watch it already either. All that to say, if they miss things, (big or small) they miss things. If they don’t, they don’t. They will be just fine either way.

Bianca 🎀

i love that little thunder sound they put when they say T 😭

Bianca 🎀

agreed, they need to see this. it shows levi's soft side for his soldiers

gdnsx

Holy, this was a pain in the butt. My subscription ran out, and the card i bought it with was empty so it didn't go through, then it blocked any attempt i made to enter a new card. i just had to make a whole new account, but otaku gold was sold out so i had to buy the 20 dollar one. but ay im back

another episode of A - O - T💣💥

My first comment on your patreon :) you guys are great and I love your discussions. Here's some things you may have missed on this episode (no spoilers): - Levi wasn't stuck or anything when he stepped on the female titan's hand. He was trying to save Mikasa and hurt his ankle while doing so. You can see his frustration as he grabbed his leg/thigh while the titans were chasing them later on. 2. As some other people pointed in the comments, Levi took Petra's patch. You can see that they showed Petra's palm with the bite and then pan on to show Levi standing over the body before he took the patch. He later on gave it to that other guy saying it was that guy's friend's patch-- but in reality, that was Petra's. 3. You guys are right how amazing Erwin and Levi are as leaders to be able to handle this situation--- but you can still see their humanity and emotion in glimpses. Like when they had to abandon the dead bodies so the wagon can move faster. You can see the slow motion when they threw Petra's body and Levi's look was just pure defeat. Can't wait for you to experience more of this journey. It's my first time to join a patreon and I don't regret it :) P.S. sorry if some of my explanations are hard to understand. English isn't my first language.

Nette Choi

Thank you for amazing reaction again! You said that the writer plays with our feelings, and it is actually true. When the story goes on, the message in the story or lines get to us more realistic, even there is a few character that'll talk to you through the lens.(The writer does it few times)(Most of the people don't catch it though)(I couldn't catch it either) Anyway, the story gets more interesting and difficult, but I'm sure you can hang on to it! Have fun and take care! XD

hiro ame

Man talk about real world parallels. You want to know how those soldiers felt coming home, to criticism and disdain after seeing things no living being should have to see? Talk to a Vietnam vet, those guys were treated like garbage coming home. It's absolutely heartbreaking. You don't have to agree with what they're sent away to do, infact I'd argue that no one should agree with war as a concept because that truly is hell on earth. But holy cow respect the people who have to witness it, especially if you don't have to

Lauren Crawford

They need to see this comment, This still hurts 🥲

Shelly

The inclusion of this episode in the series is one of the greatest indicators of why this show is the best. Most other shows would cut this episode in favor of more action, mystery, or intrigue. But not AoT. AoT understands that the heart of a story is the characters, and after what happened in this arc, they deserve a full episode to mourn, and for the audience to mourn with them. Just another reason why this show feels more “human” than most live-action shows. Also, I love how they called out the beautiful flower. It’s just as Mikasa said in Episode 7. “This world is cruel, but also very beautiful.”

Kevin

This is why Levi is named "Humanity's strongest soldier", he could have easily killed the female titan if that was his objective. In the scene where Mikasa decided to go in for the kill, Levi actually saved her by pushing her away from the female titans hand. By doing so he injured his ankle and couldn't fight when the titans approached later on in the episode. Also the patch that Levi gave Dieter was actually from Petra. He gave it to him to make him feel better instead of keeping it for himself, which shows what kind of a person he is deep down. There are 2 OVA episodes called "No Regrets" that I really recommend to watch after season 1. Can't wait to see more of the reactions!

LeviDaGoat

Another banger boyzz 🔥🔥

IQLou

I really loved this episode coz of the Levi scene..but there is more to Levi's actions that meets the eye..you should definitely watch the OVA: No Regrets before starting season 2..it has 2 parts showing Levi's life..you will see Levi in a different light when you watch this.. Regarding the episode, there are a few points to be talked about. 1. Levi told Mikasa not to push through with her plan to attack the nape coz Levi noticed that the Female Titan can still move her arm to attack Mikasa, I think there was a slight eye movement that Levi noticed. that's also why the face/eyes were focused on that scene. Because of that, Levi saved Mikasa but Levi twisted his foot upon contact with the Female titan's hand making him injured. 2. During the retrieval of bodies, when Levi went to the pile of bodies, you noticed the markings on the hand, meaning it was Team Levi Squad. He went to the "shorter" body, implicating it was Petra. He did something after revealing the logo on the uniform but it wasn't shown what, but it was later implied that he cuts out the logo from the uniform of...you guessed it..Petra..AND.... 3. The logo was given to Dieter saying "It was Ivan's"..This shows how Levi is as a captain.. Thank you so much for all the reactions, starting this super wonderful masterpiece of an anime. There are more bumps on the road ahead but you will surely love the ride🤣❤ FYI: I found your channel when you started reacting to BTS and got instantly hooked by your reactions. So I became a patreon because of that. But when you said you're gonna start reacting to anime??? I was so fast in becoming an otaku gold..🤣 Once again, thank you so much for the reactions. Much love from the Philippines❤

Leizel Tabura

Levi is being very low key in the episode about his feelings for Petras death, he took that patch from her body. But then he gave it away to make that man feel better about losing his friend by saying it was from Ivans uniform, even though there was never a moment where Levi was even close to Ivan to take it from his body. If you rewatch you will see the struggle Levi is trying to hide.

fox

this episode it's a roller coaster because you can see how awesome of a fighter captain levi is but also that he's so emotional and has a tremendous heart even though he tries to hide it, can't wait for you to see the final episodes of season 1, mindblowing

Lizi Monton

season 2 is almost here let’s gooooooo 🗣️

Bianca 🎀

yeah i caught it this time around

Bianca 🎀

I loved when you saw the female titan crying and both of you just kept side-watching each other without direct eye contact ahahahahahha

Roberto Rossodivita

Details you may have missed: When Levi ripped out an emblem patch from a dead survey corps member, it was actually Petra’s. He wanted to keep it to himself. But then since a reckless decision made by Dieter happened, they eventually dumped out the bodies from the cart and during a slow motion scene, Levi witnesses Petra getting dumped out which showcases the emotion being expressed by a character who seems to always be emotionless. In fact, Levi is one of the most emotional characters in the series in my opinion, he just doesn’t express it publicly. Moving forward, Levi then gives this same patch to Dieter and LIES that it was “Dieter’s friend” when in reality, it was Petra’s patch originally for himself. This shows how much Captain Levi cares for others, especially his soldiers.

MangoJuice

Wait I want to know if I missed something lol what do you mean?

Kenken

I can't wait for the next episode oh my god...

Gatha Naranath

amazing reaction as always fun fact (if you didn't catch on): levi had earlier taken Petra's scout patch but gave it to Dieter rather than keeping it for himself. despite his initial lack of compassion that he shows, levi is such incredibly kind inside

bort

and we are ONLY in season 1… let that 🚰 IN

carmen 🫧

idk if u caught that but our man levi hurt his leg trying to save mikasa while trying to save eren🥲

carmen 🫧

Interesting fact! (Not a spoiler) The idea of the titans came to isayama while he was working at an internet cafe when he had an interaction with a drunk customer! Its not relevant to anything other than why they all look and act goofy sometimes! Its very interesting how these great stories can be born from even the smallest interaction! Anyways great reactions from you both i cannot wait to see more! (Ive never subscribed to a patreon before but for you guys i made an exception!)

Andrew

I want to explain something to y'all about a Levi scene but I don't remember if it gets revisited later... The scene where he gives the wings of freedom patch to that blonde guy. Maybe you will catch it when you do your rewatch ~
