It’s really magnificent how deep you dive into your analysis and the effort you take into researching. I know my recommendation is by far the longest running anime you have on your TODO list, so I’m not expecting you to get to it at any point soon, but I would really recommend watching One Piece. On the surface it looks like a silly pirate anime, but it is so much more. While I agree that AOT is expertly written, I believe One Piece is what could be considered to be Japan’s Epic, equivalent to Homer’s Odyssey in scope. One Piece contains plot points of corruption, racism, inherited will, suffering and redemption, deep mysteries, amongst many others. It’s also one of the most intricate world building from any story I’ve read or seen, almost to the level of Lord of the Rings. I don’t want to say too much about it as not to taint your initial impressions, but I think your ability to analyse and research content would be incredible for One Piece. It’s a show you can spend hours, days and years analysing every little detail and theorising about the implications of every action. Keep up the great content, you’ve fast become my favourite reaction content creators ❤️

2024-02-16 00:11:04 +0000 UTCI remember when I first started this show and said “Nothing can top my two favorites, Lost and Dark. Certainly not an ANIME.” How wrong I was. This is now my favorite show of all time and I’ve watched it through at least 20 times. It’s even better on second watch, you have no idea. You two are the perfect audience for this show, you listen and pay attention and really think things through so you will appreciate the genius of it. You really don’t know just what you’re getting into—in a good way! Also I’m sure others have said this but it’s good that you note characters and dialogue because EVERY character is important. Same with dialogue, it’s all important. You are going to love this show, it gets better with each season.

Mikasa looked away as so as what happened, happened and eren continued to watch almost transfixed on the scene before him like he couldn't believe what he was witnessing!

Ozymandias from Breaking Bad has the top spot at the moment (at 10/10 average) but Attack on Titan has the most episodes on the list (12 out of the top 100 rated episodes are from attack on titan, 4 of the top 100 are Breaking Bad)

And it is 100% bingeable- it's so information packed as you progress further into the show, it helps to keep track of them all by watching them consecutively and more frequently. I also agree with some others that watching the intro at least a couple times throughout each season is a good way to get you pumped before an episode bc it flashes by so quick and you're so deep into the episode you forget what you saw in the intro (at least from my experience), but if you're worried about getting spoiled at least listen to the intro music only while you close your eyes or look away during, and watch the intro and ending at the end of each season. All the music in this show are marvelous! So excited to follow your journey and as always, love and appreciate your in depth reactions!

Please familiarize yourselves with them, even if it’s with your eyes closed like suggested earlier (I love deciphering the puzzle of the imagery, so I could not close my eyes lol). And you don’t have to include or watch them every time but just don’t skip entirely. The first time I watched the series, I wasn’t adept at noticing or really understanding any spoilers in the intros or outros. The musical scores and lyrics are so good. Hate for you to miss an integral part of the project. Think of any tv series that has an iconic theme song and then imagine not knowing the theme song. Like the comedy “Friends,” for example. It wouldn’t be the same show without being familiar with the theme song. AOT has several new intros and outros, sometimes even mid-season. Another amazing anime journey in store. Enjoy and thank you for the content. Excited to watch alongside you guys.
