Perks into stories
Added 2022-11-06 23:25:02 +0000 UTCMuch like last week, this week has been full of fixing bugs and getting the remaining storylines to work with the new systems. The pub is all working now as intended and the dance storyline has just been done before writing this post.
Dance stuff took a little longer than I had planned since there was so much room for perk related unique content. A vast majority of that revolving around the exhibitionist/commando perks. Ended up having a fair amount of unique dialog for many of the perks here. Especially since instead of switching into the new pink panties and following that chain, she foregoes underwear entirely for the rest of the dance storyline. This leads to some unique encounters as well as a fair bit of teasing from Rachel and Dani.
The photography intro line has also been done and has some unique branches, many also to do with the exhibitionist perk but also a fair few others.
That just leaves Haven and it's endings to bring back up to scratch. Hopefully it is quick but Haven is a pretty big beast so we will see.
I know bug fixing and updating the stories do not make for an interesting update post, but there is no avoiding the work so I'm afraid this weeks update is another bit of a boring one. But it's all worth it in the end.

All that thankless detail work isn't sexy but it makes for a game you can get lost in. Keep polishing, the effort shows. I've been really curious about how the Pub will work when finished. Is it just working there, or can Sammy be a customer and have guys buy drinks for her and be flirted with by the drunks? I imagine that would be more text based or show close ups/partial body shots due to all the different outfits Sammy could be wearing. Kind of related, how has writing out all the various "Triggered a related event" placeholders been going? More detail work, but if there are enough examples of each players won't be tempted to skip through them if they see them often and they can really add to the setting. Have you considered accepting submissions from people on Patreon/Discord? Skimming through and using the best to be added into the game or just as inspiration for your own? Some sort of digital form (like Google Form), select one of the various Event types from a drop down and add a submission box for a narrative line by line. If you don't want to outsource writing that's fine, it could be more of a headache than a help, just had the idea and thought I'd share. Looking forward to the new update.

2022-11-06 23:54:07 +0000 UTCI'm quite interested in the Dani and dance troupe content. Especially since the last time I ran thru it, it hinted at a sort of... private party? Would that be included in the update? Or is the dance troupe not getting updated that far yet? Just curious ;x
