Upcoming works!

Hello! I hope that everyone is enjoying their day. I wanted to quickly revisit my plans for the next projects and review my new approach to scheduling so far.

As seen in my last update post that I made in early august, I decided that I wanted to shift my focus to more involved pieces - namely comics and artworks that take me more than a single day to complete - as I thought that would be more fulfilling for me creatively, as well as more entertaining for you guys. I definitely have been feeling more satisfied with my work, not to mention that having an actual list of projects to hit has done wonders for the anxiety I used to experience related to having too many ideas and never knowing where to start 😂

So, out of the list from that early august post, here's what we got done!

• (BG3) Few-page comic about Astarion's and Cazador's first ever meeting

• (BG3) Bathouse DU drow

• (KCD2) The Hans, Henry, and Erik piece based off of the Cities of the Plain track by mewithoutYou.

And here's what I want to do next, still from the original list:

• (BG3) Astarion/Slayer piece. Potentially a 1-2 page comic.

• (KCD2) Short comic about Hans' first time giving Henry head.

And here's two "new" ideas I've had since that I would really like to tackle:

• DU drow reviews the companions feet comic. You read that correctly. Not at all NSFW I just have a lot of foot jokes that need telling. (this idea isn't new at all but I forgot about it for a while)

• Short, sweet, probably a little spicy KCD2 comic based around this concept that I has been on my mind recently. (post attached below as well in case you can't access tumblr/don't want to).

And I will leave it at that for now lest the previously mentioned too-many-WIPs anxiety starts to spike again, but suffice to say this is nowhere near a comprehensive list 💀 ANYWAY-

Thank you all for your support, patience, and ENDLESSLY entertaining and encouraging comments that you always so kindly leave below my posts. From the little jokes to key-smashing to 2 paragraph long dissertations - it's all mindblowing to receive on the daily. I read it all and look forward to the feedback with every post.

I would love to, through a short comic or something, explore the ways in which an affection-starved character such as Hans would find it very cathartic to be "handled" (fondled, enveloped, grasped) by another man. A man who, given the time, place, and personality, would probably default to a very "masculine" style of affection regardless of the gender of his partner (which is kind of demonstrable in the Hans romance scene in the game, I would argue) making him feel very desired for perhaps the first time in his life in turn.

But I would also like to avoid making the implication that that form of romantic affection is unheard of coming from women - rather, it is probably just safe to assume that a young, unmarried man in 15th century europe would have never experienced it, given the cultural expectation that women are to be pursued and chaste, while men were generally "free" to do all the ass-grabbing and chasing.

Hans, with his limited experiences and unfamiliarity with being in the shoes of the desired individual (but DEEP need to be just that), would probably be quick to elevate a homoaffective relationship to something more profound (maybe even spiritually so) than a heteroaffective one - not because that reflects reality, but again, because of the social and cultural dynamics of the time, as well as his age and overall attitude towards matters of the heart.

Much to think about 🤔 it's not an impediment, to be clear, just a neat little brain-teaser for myself as someone who usually writes characters who do not attribute any real expectation or meaning to what type of roles they play in a relationship, or it's relation to their own sex/gender or their partner's.
