Cicadas out in full force (2024)
Added 2024-05-18 19:11:19 +0000 UTCCatching bluegill for bait with Daniel. So loud out you can barely think. Daniel caught one of them and we found a couple shells.

They do not eat. They emerge to reproduce, then they die.

2024-05-22 19:34:51 +0000 UTCThis is going to be a major year for Cicadas, I heard! And having a mild winter should prove to be a bad year for skeeters to! When I was still at home on our farm, my parents call Cicadas, Locusts. Can they damage farm crops? I don’t think they do. Two different critters, the Wildlife should have extra food from them this year!
