2024-08-20 18:39:22 +0000 UTCOther than the "need to know where you're going" I think this was addressed a couple of chapters ago when we were told what they had decided to share and what not to. Among that it was explained that brooms and apparition were going to be kept secret to keep the strategic advantage in case of conflict. If they don't know the Hogwarts habitants can apparate then they cannot plan for it.

But yeah a wand of weirwood mixed with the magic of centuries old dragon fire would make it very powerful. The real question is what can he find to use as the wand core to match the other magical aspects. It already has the material of weirwood probably boosting herbology. The cursed dragon fire most likely boosts both dark arts and fire elemental spells. Maybe they could visit Kings Landing to buy the bones of the dragon that burned down Harrenhal. The previous Targaryen kings used to decorate the throne room with the bones of their deceased dragons set up kind of like a museum does for dinosaur bones. I remember that king Robert Baratheon had them all removed probably into storage. They could theoretically buy the dragon bones in bulk for some of the gold they made from taking over the criminal side of Westeros. We all know how the current king is in major dept to the Lannisters, the Church of the Seven, and the Iron Bank thanks to Littlefinger. Or he could just use the dragon bone to make a wand handle and since he is a dire wolf animagus he could use his dire wolf hair as the core. That would probably give a boost to transfiguration.

2024-08-18 03:06:43 +0000 UTCIt may be a far-fetched thought but compare the "magic theoretical authority" with the "Tracing" version of EMIYA/Emiya Shirou what would be their 7 steps; And that led me to think that they could try to replicate some of the weapons from Arthurian legends and also European ones with their different cultures and how Luna could have so many references to a certain universe thanks to magic.

2024-08-18 02:50:39 +0000 UTCThe '100/+++' is a sort of prestige system. It'll keep going up but it's also a sign that Atlas has maxed out that Discipline. The Authorities are going to be the main boon/bonus/thing for maxing out disciplines. I'm aiming for a sort of Campione-esque Authority there. So like, pseudo-divine skills/specialities/attacks to match up with the maxed discipline.

Well, anyway it's good to be back in Atlas's pov, and him and Dumbledore always make for good comedy and suspensful intrigue.
