AU – homo grandis
Added 2017-01-07 18:01:12 +0000 UTCOnly 5000 years ago the homo sapiens nearly died out when the homo grandis appeared in most parts of the world. Till this day it is unknown why the homo grandis developed out of his predecessor. Recent studies suggest a rise in consumption of animals and other high protein food but no one can tell the true cause. Other scientists suggest that the cause lies in a mutation of the gene pool because they're only male homo grandis on earth.
Today both races live along perfectly fine even though there are still some barriers left to climb, e.g. transportation, clothing, housing and interracial connections.
While the average height of the homo sapiens is around 6 feet—occasionally up to 7 feet—the homo grandis starts around 8.5 feet but some grow way beyond that number.
Because they are way rarer than the normal human being and something special in the modern pop culture they are often seen as objects of sensation. They can be found everywhere: Business, Sports, Movies and—because of obvious reasons—even in the porn industry.
After years of stagnation in research, a new wind blows through the scientific world because the ultra-man seemed to be even bigger today and growing. Scientists from all over the world try to find the reason for it because of even our modern life as some limitations in bearable size.
