I've spent a bunch of time recently trying to make something like this possible, since I wanted to do this all with actual physics.
I have now learned after weeks of trying on how to grab physics objects in Blender, and how to do stuff like this again in the future!
The next big animation I've been mentioning requires something like this, which is why it's been taking a long time. Now that I've figured it out, I'll start finally working on it ;) Expect it sometime this month.
