In what world does paying more for fewer of the same videos make sense for the customers? At the end of the day, this is a business. Not a charity. And last time i was subbed to the $10 tier, which was back when youtube was still around, "extra content with Jeannie and Kai" wasn't even 1 video per month. Has that changed?

THey don't need to pump out videos constantly on Patreon. THat's a nonsensical claim to make. Be glad they're posting more and more videos than they used to.

2024-09-25 14:45:05 +0000 UTCMaybe it is not the best business advice for them to put in less work in it when subs leave. 😂 If i where them, then i would done anything to create a single video, something which is a big hit, something s tier content ( most porbably something spicy, or eg a VLOG) in no more than 2-3 weaks after the patreon migration, to show to the fans that this patreon is the best thing ever keeping people who subbed for supporting their case, and also giving something valuable back. I guess they have a reason not doing that, they must have some serious problem.

2024-09-25 14:38:06 +0000 UTCTaking 2 week breaks to clear strikes doesn't count as inconsistency. Their previous schedule was a youtube video every 2-3 days and patreon every 2-4 weeks. So that's ~15 videos a month. The current pace is around 7 videos per month. We're paying to receive half the content we used to. And id expect editing has become much easier now that its patreon only, since they don't have to waste time cutting, censoring, and re-cutting every video 5 times to bypass Youtubes bot.

This is a significant step up from prior to the ban since all we knew is that we would get two videos a month, but when those videos would be released no one knew. Also remember that the MxR team is making less money now then when they were on YouTube. So while I also would like more videos, it is more likely that they will keep the same cadence they currently have or even start to make less videos as more subscribers leave.

2024-09-23 00:25:56 +0000 UTCI hear you, I just think they need to explore any possible avenue, there are arguments to be made about this situation and others like it. for example, Jeannie was banned for no other reason than guilt by association, yes MxR plays was originally her channel, but she formally signed it over to Henry 7 or 8 years ago. yes she remained an integral part of the channel, but the type and tone of content on PotasticP branded content was very different to that of MxR branded content. these are concepts I could see lawyers and judges running with, not to mention how youtube's vague and ever-changing TOS are (arguably) extremely unethical given that the platform has become something that many people rely on for regular income. I think that in the next few years we could see new legal precedents being set with regards to these things.

So you over panicked with the chocolate on the floor. The darker the chocolate the more toxic it is to the dog (dog treats sometimes have white chocolate since it’s not actually chocolate). The amount of chocolate a dog can consume without causing death is also dependent on its size with larger dogs able to consume more than smaller dogs.
