It's kinda neat to have that kind of history, but it's mostly a curse: there is really intense pressure to live up to the name, especially when three generations are alive concurrently like in my case. It also gets messy once the child grows up, since now two people with the same name (suffix is not commonly accounted for in database systems even now) are living at the same address. There can even be an effect on one's credit report, since name and address (at some point) match. When it came time to name my son, he did not become the fifth.

There's no indication that they have any conscious understanding of what they're doing, and they wouldn't know how to paint anything else. He was famous for doing really fast amputations, which was helpful in preventing shock because they also didn't have anesthesia, and the less time you were in excruciating pain the less chance your heart would give out from the strain. He messed up the amputation and the patient bled out. He was also cutting so aggressively that one of his assistants, who was holding the patient down, had the fingers on one hand cut off, and he died later of septic shock from the wound getting infected. Someone in the audience watching (because it was at a seminar and he had people sitting around watching) died of a heart attack from the shock of seeing all the blood, screaming, severed fingers, etc. So patient + assistant + audience member = 3 people dead from one surgery = 300% mortality rate.

They moved back to LA, so any videos with them still in the Seattle house are old. They said that all un-censoring that could be removed has been, but if the video never had anything to un-censor in the first place then there won't be.
