Your commentary is great, MXR, but it's just not the same when the video is not Skyrim or Fallout. Maybe you could make your normal videos a little longer and simply include the paid advertisements into the video? Just a thought. I think it's perfectly fine to do paid advertisement, just don't try to hide it. It does feel a bit scripty, there's freedom for you to do more in your videos as well! As long as you have fun, it'll more than likely be entertaining.

My take is, as long as you let me know that it's a paid advertisement and you're just tossing it out here because it's uncensored, I'm cool with it. :) Your instincts were spot on - you saw that folks could be a bit riled (paying for an advertisement) but a bunch of us would like it anyway. :) As long as folks are warned? No need to complain.

Don’t mind broadening the content a little, but if it’s a paint by numbers sponsor it seems disingenuous.
