A Few Thoughts About the Idea Submissions
Added 2022-10-10 05:14:55 +0000 UTCI've been doing some thinking and noticed some things regarding the idea submission threads for polls that I'd like to address. The first is that I think from now on I'm gonna limit entries to being already established R34 characters as generic entries weren't really as popular of an idea as I initially hoped. The second is that, when you submit an idea that you wanna see go on a poll, I need to see that you're using all your votes. If you've only got one suggestion and have no multiplier beside it (e.g. x2, x3) then I'll only count it as one vote when I'm tallying the ideas up.
Other than that, the suggestion threads will go forward the same as they've always done. I enjoy seeing what you guys submit and I hope I've been doing your ideas justice when fleshing them out!

I appreciate the kind words! My fear with a totally generic poll is that it won't get the love that one with well-known characters would get. Not everyone participates with the regular ones as is or even suggests ideas, so I just don't want it to be a total flop. The second idea is what I actually do with the monthly polls. Those are made from the runners up in the previous month's polls, so at least there is a chance that one of them gets another chance for glory.

I think it would be neat to do an occasional generic character poll where all entries are generic, but whenever a generic character is put up against an established character they are going to get absolutely destroyed in the poll. I also feel like it could be neat to do the occasional poll where you select some of your favorite ideas that weren't picked through the year and do some kind of scraps poll with them. I don't know, just some food for thought. Thanks for making all of these stories for us :)
