The Handsome Stranger - Part 11

All characters are consenting adults (18+)

“Does that man ever wear a shirt?” Dad asked, as he looked out the front to find Austin fixing the porch, with nothing but a pair of shorts on.

“He’s fixed more in this house in the last two weeks than you have in the last ten years” Mom replied sharply, “plus” she added with a smile, “I’ve seen worse things on a Monday morning”.

I grimaced. Dad scowled, and shortly after, the pair of them left for work and I continued to watch Austin out the window.

There were only so many times I could remark on his beauty. It felt like all I did was think about how handsome he was, but it was hard not to. His skin had become even darker from the countless hours under the sun, and his muscles, even larger. Every movement he made, his body tensed and my heart fluttered.

I was in no doubt anymore. The incident in the living room. The incident in the bedroom. The incident in the forest. All of it pointed to one thing. Austin did like me. Maybe he didn’t like me as much as I liked him, but he certainly liked me.

“Morning” I said, standing against the door frame as the heat of the day washed over me. Austin wiped sweat from his brow as he turned around. “Been out here long?”

He stood up tall and wiped his hands on an old rag. “Long enough” he said, and walked toward me, causing my whole body to tingle, before he grabbed my orange juice from my hands and gulped it down in two. “Thanks” he smirked, and handed the empty glass back.

Part of me wanted to lick the section of the glass where his mouth had been.

“How’s your wrist?”

“Getting better” I said, clenching my fist. “I’ll be able to punch you again soon”.

Austin laughed. He had such a hot laugh, too. The fact that he was even laughing at my joke was enough. I set the glass down and moved closer to him as he returned to his job.

“What are you doing?” I asked, though I didn’t really care. I just wanted to hear his voice.

“Fixing this thing” he said, shaking the rail.

“Why?”

“Because it’s broken” he scoffed.

“So?”

“Do you like broken things?”

I didn’t answer him. The conversation was becoming too complicated.

“It’s warm out, huh?” I said, and I watched as he shook his head and laughed.

“Yes, Cooper” he said, “it’s warm”.

“Are you going to be working all day?” I enquired, looking out onto the street and slightly hoping that Celina was watching.

“Probably”.

All day?”

“Is there something else I should be doing?” He laughed, but kept his eyes on his work.

“I dunno’”

“Well then” he shrugged, “yeah”.

“Isn’t it boring?”

“Not as boring as talking about it being boring” he replied, and looked back at me. “Spit it out” he said, “what do you want?”

Our eyes held for a moment. He was so intimidating when he wanted to be, and my brain was yet to learn how to respond to that. Still, the man gave me excited chills whenever he looked at me.

“You” I said, but I couldn’t keep eye contact so I looked down at my feet, instead.

“Is that right?” He said, and dropped his hammer onto the ground. He stood up again, slowly approaching me until the sharp scent of his delicious sweat engulfed me, and slammed his hand against the wall next to my head, trapping me.

“What is it about me that you want, Coop?” He whispered.

My mouth dried up instantly. It was only a little after nine on a Monday morning and cars were still driving by on the road. The idea of being seen by anybody other than Celina in a town like this, made my skin crawl.

“J… Just you” I mumbled.

“Just me? All of me?”

“All of you”.

Austin grinned at me for a moment. We both knew that my cock was beginning to wake up in my shorts, and my eyes followed Austin’s finger as he pointed at the large, bulging muscle in his arm, where a droplet of sweat rolled down the inside of his flesh.

“Lick it” he breathed, and I took a sharp breath as the idea made me leak.

“W… What?”

“You heard me” he smiled.

I looked over his broad shoulder again. How on earth did he expect me to do something so unusually hot right outside my own house?

“What if somebody sees?”

“I don’t care” he replied calmly, “do you?”

Part of me certainly did care. I imagined the neighbours telling my mom and dad that their eighteen year old son was licking sweat off the house guest’s armpit, and cringed as the thought.

“Suit yourself” Austin smirked, but just before he moved his arm, I grabbed it with both hands and lashed my tongue over the salty, sharp sweat. The taste made me gasp, and the warm aroma from under his arm caused my cock to twitch.

He dropped his arm a few seconds later and stared into my soul. His taste remained on my tongue, and I wasn’t sure whether to be turned on or completely mortified that I’d allowed myself to do something so deranged. Austin nodded with a devious smile on his perfect face, and returned to work.

He was driving me utterly insane. It was painfully clear that there was something between us, but what was it? Was he in love with me like I was with him? Did he simply want to have sex with me? Did he even want to have sex with me? What if the whole thing was just a way of getting his needs met? Maybe Austin didn’t even like me at all.

The possibilities rolled around in my head for hours that Monday, and all the while, Austin continued to fix the porch under the blistering sun. Why did he enjoy working so much? The idea of melting in the heat whilst doing physical labour sounded torturous, but it wasn’t until after lunchtime when Austin finally came inside and found me laying on the sofa.

“Are you always this lazy?” He asked, dripping sweat onto the floor.

“Yes”.

He scoffed as he sat down in the armchair. I tried not to look at him, but it was impossible. I stared at him, and he stared right back, and in that moment, I didn’t even care how awkward it felt.

“Are you going to tell your parents that you’re gay?” He asked.

“No”.

“Why not?”

“Why would I?”

“They’re your parents”.

“Do your parents know?”

Austin’s eyes flicked away from me, and I could instantly tell that I’d said something wrong.

“Sorry” I said, but he shook his head.

“My mother died when I was young” he said, and my heart ached at the words. “I’ve never had a great relationship with my father. He’d like me even less if he knew”.

“That sucks” I sighed, “I’m sorry”.

“Don’t be. I get to have a new family every few months”.

I cocked a brow. “What do you mean?”

“This” he said, looking around the room. “I’ll spend a few months here, and when your folks inevitably find out that I’m gay, I’ll go somewhere else”.

“You can’t!” I snapped, and sat upright on the sofa. “You can’t go somewhere else!”.

Austin stared at me for a moment as my heart smashed inside my chest, and the overwhelming urge to burst into tears hit me like a train.

“You can’t leave!” I barked, and he looked genuinely confused.

“Your folks won’t let me stay if they find out. You know that, right?”

“They won’t find out” I replied quickly, desperately trying to think of ways to make him change his mind. “We won’t tell them”.

“I think they’re already beginning to realise” he smiled sadly. “There’s only so many times I can hide the fact that I’m in love with their son”.

The words paralysed me. He was in love with me, but how could it ever work out if he was planning to just leave?

“You have to stay” I said, defiantly. “I won’t let you go”.

He smiled again. It was an apologetic smile. A there’s nothing you can do smile. Not quite the fuck you smile he’d given me two weeks ago.

“Please” I said, and now I could feel the tears rolling down my cheeks. “Don’t go”.

Austin watched me for a few seconds before getting to his feet and sitting down next to me. He draped his arm over my shoulders and pulled me close to his chest, and I couldn’t help but sob.

If god existed, why would he give me something so special only to rip it away from me?

“You know what they say, Coop” Austin said, stroking my hair as I leaned against his warm, sweaty chest. “It’s better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all”.

My tears dripped onto his abs until I wiped them away and sat up.

“No” I said, sniffling, and turned around to him. “I’m not letting you go”.

It still baffled me how every kiss we shared, was better than the last one, but as our lips pressed softly together, I knew it was time to make a plan. I refused to lose Austin.

awwwwww!

Madam I'm Adam

Another beautiful installment. And this one really showed Coop’s vulnerability. It really would be unfair to Cooper to lose Austin so quickly after falling in love.

Why would Austin be kicked out of coopers for being gay? His parents haven’t been framed as bigots at all
