[sunday doodle] reflection

Yes I know it‘s monday today BUT this is my sunday doodle, I‘ve drawn the entirety of this on sunday except for a small fix where I ended up redrawing a small detail since I messed up the angle a little and when I noticed it late yesterday I just went „I‘ll fix that tomorrow“ and went to do exactly that and got some sleep instead of posting it lol.

SO! This is something I‘ve been wanting to draw for I kid you not two years or so? But never did because I wasn‘t sure how I‘d even approach the idea with composition, lighting and what kind of rendering etc. So I never got around to, but since I‘ve been feeling inspired currently with more lighting focussed pieces like the kpop demon hunters inspired Grima the time has FINALLY come! And god am I happy with this!! 😭💕 glad I actually took my time to draw out this idea and do it justice because I‘m genuinely so happy with this, had a blast working on this, working out the lighting and composition etc! As a little bonus here‘s my ultra shitty ultra rough first draft of the idea 😂

So yeah, very personal piece with a very personal idea for my sunday doodle.

Also featuring the return of the world of steel outfits I‘ve given them for a little gift piece for a friend back in 2021! Would they go to the world of steel together? Absolutely not but I LOVE putting fantasy-style characters, especially god-like dragons into modern clothing, there‘s just something very funny about it.
