I feel like that's because Liberty was such a different writer. Not to say Waffle isn't great by any means (they did create my favorite series), but Liberty was also great in there own way- which is why I feel the same about the first-second gen. games

Perfect narratively and almost functionally (as a visual novel I mean). Followed by Forest Girls, Legend of Talia (underrated by the way), Dungeon, and Fantasy (probably would have been 3rd if finished) in that order. All of which are amazing! But Cupid is definitely not far behind

I think Cupid is my favorite if we don't pick the elephant in the room that is Dungeon. Magical Girls, Angels, Santa, Cupid are all picks that have been very fresh over the years. Big recommend from me, friend!!
