JANUARY 2024 update post ✨

HAPPY JANUARY AND OFFICIALLY WELCOME TO 2024 Y'ALL! 🎉

The new year is here and it's the year of the dragon no less, let this hopefully be a sign for great things to come! I hope 2024 treated you all good so far, we're exactly one week in now and I hope your first week has been a pleasant one :) So far the year started pretty well in terms of art for me and I'm feeling so motivated today, I decided to type out & post the update post early 🙌

Before getting right to it I just wanted to thank you guys for all the nice comments especially under my holiday doodles, they meant alot to me and thanks to those of you who read my little year recap and gave me encouraging words on it !! 🥺💖 It honestly just felt good to write out a bunch of the things in there, especially considering I haven't been speaking alot about it since it's been nore of a 'behind the scenes' sorta thing, well unless you keep up to date with everything that's been written in discord, but still I haven't been going too much into detail about it.
2023 was fairly stressful, thankfully not in a completely terrible life-events kinda way but you know, with sorting out the rat's tail of stress from the previous years and general events like still ongoing inflation, AI development etc. so just, thank you guys for listening, understanding and being supportive! It's not something I take for granted so I just wanted to thank you again 🥺💖

I'm pretty proud I also managed to catch up on everything overdue from schedule for December in time after my Covid infection, also can successfully say now that I'm 100% back to health again, the lingering cough I've been dealing with for a while afterwards is gone!! 🙌💕 My overall state of health & the time constraints did impact some of my december work a little if you look very closely since I did have to rush a little, usually I take more time for most things but even the full render works had a one day limit and simple backgrounds to make sure I get everything done but that's a one time thing. given the circumstances I'm honestly still fairly happy with it and how much I got done :)

 There's one more project I want to finally catch up on this month now that I actually am in the right headspace and physical state of it again and then all the overdue things are truly worked though. It's probably the first thing I'll be working on tomorrow.

SO for the actual work planning this month! 

First thing I'll be doing tomorrow is the yearly spring cleaning of the points list, sorting it out a little more manually etc. to make sure everything's truly 100% up to date.
I will be opening my commission form right after this post now as well so I'll be taking some for this month again and will be working on them through the week, if you're interested, the usual rules apply! I'll choose from the submissions already in there and if you want to change yours or delete your submission, just send me a DM on discord!
Please follow these guidelines and don't keep resubmitting the same idea. As I mentioned several times, I select which one(s) I draw from the total submissions, there is no need to submit the same thing over and over 🙏

Voting poll for the month will also be posted in a few days! If you do have character suggestions, make sure to post them below this post in the comments!

 I already picked a few myself but I'll gladly add or consider more, I've been thinking about going with an overall spring/flower theme for this month. I'm also aiming to do a bigger full render piece again this month with an elaborate background, been wanting to do it again properly on my workspace now that I'm home again and also fully recovered 🙌💖

For the chocolate tier people, please send me your sketch ideas for this month between the 20-24th of the Month, via discord only and make sure to follow my ToS for them! If you have any questions or are unsure about something, please ask! I also already got a request for a point trade in for this month so I won't be taking any additional ones for this month 🙏
