August update post

Hello Hello Hello everyone ✨

Here's the long awaited and promised and very belated update post for this month, very hyper belated in fact thanks to the whole unplanned suspension thing where I had no clue how long it was going to last and due to during that period my posts straight up not getting displayed for 99% of you at all aside from as I learned, mail notifications that show the title, I decided to obviously not post the update considering nobody would be able to read it 💀

So here we are now, almost two weeks later than what I had originally planned due to the whole DMCA mess and my whole planned schedule for the month kinda being down the drains thanks to it but I'm at least glad I got freed from suspension hell 🙏 

I've dropped a summary here but also spoke more in-depth about it on discord, short version is that someone again just like back on twitter a while ago decided to send false DMCA claims over my art and that got the account suspended until the issue here was resolved 🙃

but regardless, the issue of the messed up schedule is here now and as I've been talking about on discord already and after some thinking and considering the date & where we already are this month I've decided that there won't be a voting poll this month and neither will I be doing comms, I'd simpy run put of time especially with the voting poll if I'd wait for suggestions also give at least some days for people to see the poll and vote .it really sucks but it's more reasonable than trying to cram it into what's left of the month now but the whole DMCA & suspension issue was beyond my control and means of planning 😔

As I mentioned on discord already the alternative is me just finishing up what I have been cooking for this month which would be three more illustrations that you guys hopefully like plus some patreon point trade ins that I've been meaning to do, I'll also most likely be able to do the reward sketches sooner this month at least so there's a slight silver lining at least 🙏 I've only received encouraging comments to it when I was talking about it on discord so I hope this is okay with all of you! This is very much an exception obviously and only due to the unique circumstances given this month. 

I've originally wanted to do more bikini themed doodles through the month but honest to god the whole uncertainty over the suspension since there was no way in knowing how long that might last considering twitter took a month to just respond to me back then pretty much sapped most of my energy while it lasted and I hope you can understand that, being confronted with suddenly potentially losing your main source of income is not a great experience to have along with the uncertainty of how long the whole ordeal is going to last.😔 

Might catch up on the Bikini plans during Simptember though, 'tis the season for it 😌

For the chocolate tier people, send me your sketch idea on the 25th of the month please, usual rules apply for the submissions just no longer submission timeframe for this month due to the things mentioned above 🙏 

Really hoping the next month will be less chaotic, I'm really not happy with how things went this month so far and hope I was at least able to reach you all about the situation while it was happening. Me not posting much was not my intention for this month, it was very much not my own choice and more of the complete opposite of what I had planned 😔

I hope you all had a good August so far though and can make the best out of the remaining summer days, as always thank you all so much for your support and especially the mental support during the situation ™️ , it means the world to me 🥺💕
