They already tried it when they were in a partnership with Sekai Project but then there was a fallout as well as the fact Sekai Project released information about Winged Cloud being awful people. So I doubt very much that there will be another collaboration between those two companies in the near future.

There's obviously some automated system for reporting content that can be abused (like YouTube's copyright claim) where creators are guilty until proven innocent. Even if Valve is walking back, I'd still say look into alternatives for worst case scenario. Never put all your eggs in one basket

Yeah. I heard from Noble. I'm so freaking pissed off at that crap. Like why would they RANDOMLY change their mind on so many of those games. It doesn't make much sense. Anyway, I agree with Zefyr here. Maybe Nutaku can help. I'm sure there's enough advertising on them that you guys should be solid. The great thing about Nutaku is that there's two different versions of the site. One being SFW and the other NSFW. I feel like you guys shouldn't have to skimp on quality. And content because Steams being a big pile of dung right now. I mean everyone's entitled to do with their properties as they like. But when you take away the right to certain things. And the ability to produce games as you see fit. It just ruins the marketplace. Hopefully they'll see the error of their ways. And fix this and go back to the way they were. Lol.

Well looks like I may be focusing on nutaku for your games in the future. Valves hypocrisy at it's finest. Allow games like GTA V, Witcher III, or even the saints row series to run free waiving their dildo bats in the air but a game that doesn't even allow adult content unless patched is a no no. Also I think itch.io would be a good site to distribute on. Some other VNs on steam are released uncensored by default on itch as well as some other games with more extreme sexual content than anything present in all Sakura VNs combined (strive for power for example)

When you say 'adjust', do you mean 'make uncensored patches not work'?

It's super-weird that Steam targets visual novels with still images while keeping mature games with sex still around. Heck, indie-games that are heavily dependant on sexy visuals like "Sexy Serial Killer" t.ex. are around probably. But then again, Valve/Steam doesn't even have so one can put ones actual age on once account. Always with the manually typing once dates as you log to see a mature-game.

If it is about patching then why has Valve not attacked games like Skyrim and Fallout. Some of the most downloaded mods are nude mods, and skimpy costume mods. No issue there. Just BS from Valve bowing to SJWs

Wait I don't get it, does that mean you have to change the patch content? Or the base game without the patch? I thought patch stuff was not touchable by Steam aside from no longer being able to link 18+ patches.

While this does make a little bit of sense on Valve's part, this is pretty dang bias since it seems to be focused on anime stuff which tends to have an origin from Japan when they seemingly have no problem with the outright bloody action games. When will this kind of thing end and just let us play the games we want to play?!?!

Probably because people keep on reporting those games as they can't differentiate between reality and fiction. Other than that, a lot of users on Steam also feel the same easy as you guys with other Visual Novels such as A Kiss For The Petals: Maiden's of Michael.

I don't know if Winged Cloud would work with Mangagamer again. I do know they sell game s on Nutaku (uncensored) but I don't know how much that goes towards sales compared to Steam, and don't know if they'd want to disclose that

This is why I avoid steam for vn's if at all possible. I would rather buy direct or through a different source like manga gamer for example
