commission sketch
Added 2021-07-26 20:32:44 +0000 UTCI'm not sure If I posted the previous version of this here? But I don't think so. So here's the actual first sketch for my last commission from the regular commission batch ( yes the one I took in January? I think? ).
I ended up redrawing this whole thing completely since I wasn't happy with the initial draft, it's still a rough draftand needs some fixing but I like it so much more now ☺️ Fox & Krystal are a pair I always loved alot, but also I'm a huge starfox fan and played every single game of the series so far, so I'm feel blessed that I getto draw them for a commission ! 💖
due to my bad network connection I ended up getting my starfox adventures user manual for character references since none of the pictures on google loaded, so that was an experience 🤣 Did work pretty well though. I'm pretty excited for thefurther progress on this, I hope I'll have alot of fun working on this 🙏💕
Took me a good while to get through this batch, mostly because I ended up taking 9 comissions instead of the initial 3 I wanted to do and the ongoing pandemic + other terrible things happening this year so far made it quite hard for me to stay motivated 😅. So once I'm done with this batch I won't be taking regular complex public commissions for a good while, I don't feel comfortable with taking ages to work on projects due to the outer circumstances affecting me badly and not confidently being able to work at my peak. I want to be able to give my very best, especially with high quality complex projects but I'm feeling so burnt out from the pandemic that I just can't do that as much as I'd love to.
so I'll be taking only simple commissions or private ones from people I trust or projects I 100% want to work on for a while, I hope you guys understand 😞🙏 I want to be able to do my very best and I don't feel good with my current situation & complex commissions. I will change that again of course once the pandemic is over and things are somewhat back to normal so I can work at 100% again.

I'm kinda surprised there's so little art of them (in comparison to some other pairings in the fandom)? They are pretty cute together :)

And heck, even your 'simple' commissions look amazing, so I'm sure folks would be just as interested. (I know I am, lol) :) And of course this sketch you posted here is already looking like it's going to be amazing. Fox and Krystal were always an underrated pairing.
