Day 1 post vaccination update

Hey everyone!

I successfully got my first shot yesterday so Covid can fuck off now 💪
So that's good news! I was also fortunate enough to not develop any fever or shivering side-effect (yet, hopefully never haha) and only had a headache yesterday that passed in the meantime. The only still lasting side effects are pain in my right arm - where I got the shot since I'm left handed - and it feeling wobbly / weak , also nausea with me having thrown up twice today and exhaustion. But I'll manage! I should be feeling okay again after tomorrow, my doctor said the after effects normally don't last longer than three days!

Now some bad news, both of my arms are currently kinda useless , not completely otherwise I wouldn't be able to type this but they feel wobbly af and I can't put all of my strenght in them. Left arm due to an accident during a CT appointment I had on monday for another health issue that's unrelated to my ability to draw though, but they ended up piercing through two of my veins in the arm, one right on top of the hand which resulted in blood spilling under my skin and my hand being weirdly swollen atm. currently looks like a big bruise on my hand. Already got it checked by my doctor before I got vaccinated and he said it should be gone in a few days too, I'm just taking it a little easier with drawing until then because I can't use my full strenght / regular pen pressure levels atm. without it hurting so I won't be working on normal pictures, monochromatic sketches should be fine though since they don't require the same range.

Here's also a picture, it's not too bad but it's uncomfortable to move my hand with it, I'm really scoring in the health department during the pandemic 😬 It should thankfully be gone soon, I just wanted you guys to know that I won't be working on regular full render pictures until this is gone, I've tried with the doodle I'll post after this and it turned out to be a pretty difficult time. I hope you guys understand. Will be getting back to regular things as soon as possible! 🙏💖

2 Days later update, thankfully the vaccination side effects are mostly gone now aside from some minor pain in my right arm, but my left arm and especially the hand looks & feels much worse 😔 So I have decided to not draw until this has decently healed, the worst part of it (now colored red too) affects my wrist which I unfortunately need to draw and  I feel like attempting to even sketch with this did not help it in the end so not using my hand at all for a bit might be for the best. I'm really really sorry 😔😔
