June 2021 update post!

Summer is officially here now as it's June! Time's been absolutely flying by this year, already half of the year is over. I hope you all and your loved ones managed to stay safe and are taking good care of yourselves! The pandemic is no joke and the long term effects it has on your mental health are no joke either so don't be too hard on yourselves! You all are doing amazing given the circumstances, we've made it until now and we'll make it through the pandemic! 🙏💖

My apologies I'm a little late with this without any notice in advance, IRL things have been coming up unexpectedly that kept me occupied.My partner has been getting the Corvid vaccine and it affected him pretty badly so he's currently dealing with a fever and other side effects and I'm taking care of him.I'm set to get my vaccine this week too and depending on how bad it will affect me I might not be able to draw at all for a few days but it's important to get the vaccine so I hope you guys understand. 🙏

Another factor that played into the delay was a wave of depression hitting me late last month once the realisation struck again that it would've been Con-season now if things were normal and this is the second year now with all the major events that I was looking forward to being cancelled and me still having my big Byleth cosplay project laying around unfinished for almost two years now thanks to Corona and that hit me pretty badly with everything else included. The only good thing about it is that it at least got me moved to vaccination priority group 2 in my country but otherwise it's been pretty bad and I'm terribly sorry for the lack of new work-related art, my overall slowness and the delay of this post. It' been pretty hard for me but I'm trying to do my best!
I've been of course working on new serious art projects that aren't shitposts, I just haven't fully finished any of my projects yet.


On the positive side, I had more time to think about the voting options for this month and I've came up with a good selection with lots of new characters that will go online later today! 👀

Aside from that my plan for this month is rather simple, going to finish up the WIPs I already started, finish up the point trade ins and hopefully the last commission from my queue! not planning too ambitious ahead in case the vaccine knocks me out for a good while (which I don't hope but I can't rule it out as possibility) and POTS can also just randomly flare up badly during it. So I'm keeping my plans for month more simple until that is over. This is a once in a lifetime event with the vaccine doses so I hope you guys understand 🙏
Also please consider getting vaccinated too if you're able to and it's possible in your country! Make sure to talk to your doctor about your options and the risks.

For the chocolate tier people, please send me your sketch ideas until the 15th of this month!  Via discord and make sure to include references of your character. I will not create your character from a vague description and such and will also not work "that character you drew two years ago once" as only sort of reference :/

I think this is all for now, I'll keep you updated in discord once I got my vaccine too and if it has any side effects on me, depending on how bad it is I might post an update here too but I'm hoping for the best for now 🙏
