You can find it on steam here:

or on Mangagamer:

www.mangagamer.com/detail.php?product_code=158

Since MangaGamer did publish this game, you get a code from them.

They also provide a steam key after you used the code on their website.

I like you to know that I asked MangaGamer to send out steam keys however without me knowing they did send out keys for their website.
I dont agree to this and I wont let that happen next time again.

I m sorry for the extra trouble you have this time

Sakura Santa Now Released

Comments

I know this is extremely late, but I still have the code for mangagamer unused in my email inbox. I tried redeeming it today and sakura santa doesnt even exist on mangagamer anymore. Any chance I can just get a direct steam key?

Nekrozian

I send it to you with patreon message

Winged Cloud

Manga gamer cannot be accessed from Japan. Therefore, I cannot receive the steam key. Similarly, Please send the steam key to me directly.

dearna

totally agree with maou

Alright, so the DRM thing can be of use to some people. But not to me. But that's me; it's an individual matter personally defined by my situation, so we'll exclude that from the conversation. But I don't know this Manga Game... people. I've never heard of them until now. And, frankly, my first interaction with them being that I am -forced- to sign up to their system in order to get a game for somewhere else is NOT something that inspires confidence. I'm not made to sign up to XBox Live to play a game on my Playstation. I'm not required to create a hotmail account in order to use gmail. Having someone say "Here's a game, but before you can get it on your regular system that you know and trust, you need to join us" is not something I want to be a part of. I don't care that it will take no time at all. I don't care that I don't need to further interact with them. It is the principal of the fact that I am being forced into something that I don't actually need to do. This 'sign up with us' serves only them. ONLY them. All I am seeing from this is an underhanded method of bolstering their user/account numbers. That in and of itself makes me not want anything to do with them, now or in the future.

Ok i suppose you havent brought a game outside of steam before ill try to explain. "DRM free" means you can play the game without the need for a third party program like steam or an always online internet connection to play. And the game is able to be played by itself. This is great for people that dont have a stable internet connection or dont want to have to rely on 2nd program like steam to be functional in order to play a game. Now i understand its a slight hassle to sign up for Mangagamer for the first as it is the same with signing up for pateron so i can see that side. But it only needs to be done once. I understand you might not want the version they offer and just want the steam version and you do not have to use it and can still use the steam key they provide just as easily. But isnt having the option to choose what you want better then only having the steam option?

Haku

A DRM free version? What does that even mean? What is that going to give me that the Steam version won't? And how is having the same game on two different sites, on the same machine, more value? I'm being forced to sign up to a site I've never even heard of and most likely will never touch just to get the game where I want it and have been on for years. I might as well be made to go down the street to a neightbour's house just to get into my own house. It's a pointless action that doesn't need to be done from my point of view and only serves them. For this little stunt I'd rather -buy- the game off Steam and just get the patch from Winged Cloud's Patreon.

Silvador

You get a DRM free version as well as a steam key. Whats not to like about that? you are now getting more value for your pateron then before without paying anything extra. Took me a minute to do the process mentioned in the e-mail and it was sent before the steam version even launched giving you a few hours extra time to do it before release.

Haku

Pretty sure this is a non-issue as Mangagamer has matched the steam price for the Sakura titles. MG = $8.49 USD Steam = $8.49 USD. Plus with the way Mangagamer sends the code out you will get the DRM uncensored version free with the steam version. So you wont even have to pay anything extra for both versions.

Haku

Having that option for a DRM free version is always a plus. So I hope you consider keeping this as it gives customers choice if they want DRM or not.

Haku

Personally i do not see too much issue with this. I mean its a win in a way as you get 2 copies in a sense. One Steam key and one Mangagamer DRM free version.

Haku

nvm get it right after sending a e-mail ^^ ty

Xuxlo

Didnt get a key ;(

Xuxlo

Thanks, I really do love your content, and would hate to see them force those tactics on you. I did register for their site though since I really wanted to Sakura Santa yesterday ;)

Lord Treant

Personally I dont see a point of not doing an uncensor patch. Pretty much every game with censored content on steam is doing it. I will talk to them about this and have no intention of forcing our customers to buy on their store just because there is no uncensoring patch.

Winged Cloud

Here is the biggest question, and it will determine if I remain a patreon after your partnership with Manga Gamer. They have a habit of releasing steam all ages versions, and uncensored versions... However the uncensored version is usually on their website and unpatchable for $5 more. Are you still going to release free patches or are you going to go the route of Manga Gamer? I love your games, but I really don't need to download the same game twice to just see uncensored content when its released.

Lord Treant

Already 2 stories down and last line under way. Loving it so much.

bigmangriff

I'm just installing the game right now, thanks for the keys :D Just to know... Is there any difference between the versions at Manga Gamer's website and the Steam one? EDIT: Silly me... MERRY XMASS TO YOU ALL :D

Jorge Ricardo Teixeira de Queiroz de Freitas

me too, but I guess this is a bad way to start their relationship. I think Winged Cloud would've understood it if they sent the keys but also made self propaganda, like "here is your steam key, but come check the game out on our own website" or something like that. Forcing players to subscribe wasn't nice. I do hope, however, that there is enough trust left between them to try again. I believe Manga Gamer and Winged Cloud could be good partners in the long run.

Jorge Ricardo Teixeira de Queiroz de Freitas

It's not that big of a deal. Although I already had a manga gamer account anyway.

wandalynn

I also dislike that, I will talk to them to fix that. They didnt inform me that things where going like that before it happend

Winged Cloud

So, let me get this straight... I need to make an account on this Mangagame place and use a code there to get the game, just so I can get a code for Steam? Convoluted, much?
