Sounds like it is Demon Master Chris 2. By the way, I play a lot of Wizardry and just recently did a run of Shining in the Darkness on the Genesis. If you ever want someone to post a wall of text about what they like and don't like in first-person dungeon crawlers as well as what they'd want to see in one, I'm your man.
