Hello everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Keeping up with October's extra-spooky maps, I am launching a preview of my next map in the Lothburgh series: The River Monster Lair!
If you're new to the Lothburgh project, my good friend over at Lunch Break Heroes is working on a new campaign setting featuring a group (your party) of investigators solving mysteries and crimes throughout the city of Lothburgh. This map will feature the river Jass, a central river that separates the city's various boroughs. After your party follows a series of clues that lead them to a culvert and river run-off filled with trash, the horrid scent tells them something vile lurks inside...
You'll have the outer river portion, a culvert leading to a large storm tunnel with a small cave in on the side. This will expand out to a much larger cavern under the city, where broken water pipes have filled the room with murky waters, where the beast lairs, taking those near shore to feed on their remains.
This will be a great map if you are featuring any sort of sewer encounter where you can use the water as a great environmental challenge!
I'll have the full release ready by Monday.
Cheers,
DM Andy
