Sneak Peek - Hag's Lair

Hey everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Today I'm showing a bit of my next map: The Hag's Lair.

Inspired by the lair from BGIII, I wanted to give any single hag or even a coven of hags a proper (and deadly) battleground for your heroes to end their nefarious ways.

This map will feature a large underground cavern with massive tree roots bursting through the rock. Perfect to add any illusion spell to conceal the entrance (like the oven in the Old Mill, for example).

The terrain wraps around a large chasm dropping hundreds of feet to an underground river. A bridge that once was there is now broken, forcing your players to cross a moss-covered, rotted log.

In the center of this will be a hanging wooden cage, which the hags can use to taunt the players to "try to be heroes". The cage is dangling from what looks like twisting branches forming a hag's hand and seemingly controlled by the creatures.

There will be lots of opportunities to add terrain hazards, a tense rescue scenario, and finally, your players can battle their way into the inner sanctum where the hags brew their horrid potions and conduct their rituals and spells.

I'll have the full map ready to go by Monday!

Hmm are you refering to Arc T from the Reloaded guide? (This section: https://www.strahdreloaded.com/Act+IV+-+Secrets+of+the+Ancient/Arc+T+-+The+Three+Fanes#T3.%20The%20Witch%20of%20Berez) If so, I'd say 100% eventually! Currently I'm letting the Dragna team drive the priorities of the Reloaded project and I'm also getting new custom assets made for the swamp so I can tackle my Berez re-works properly.
