Hey everyone, and happy New Release Monday! Today, I am releasing part II of the Gothic City Church map, which includes the interior locations.
In case you missed the original post with the exterior maps, you can pick those up here.

Additionally, in talking with my fellow map-making peers, I've learned a new way to better handle these release posts and also make it easier to find what you're looking for and get a quicker download. I'll be working over the coming weeks on reworking my Map Hub page to a master post for each tier, which will be a singular hub not just for the post links, but also direct downloads from that page in a single one-click method! I'm also developing a tagging system which you can use a CTRL + F and search for tags to find maps that fit your needs (environment/biome, mood, campaign setting, etc). I started this already last week but it's quite a lot of work since I need to repackage 5+ years of maps and attach them to a single master post, but once it is done, it will cut down on multiple release posts and make it cleaner and easier to find what you're looking for!
This interior map contains the following interior locations:
Bottom Floor Interior of both the Church and the Rectory. The church contains the following locations: Vestibule, Nave, Confessional, Sacristy, Office, and Belfry entrance.
Attic level and 2nd floor of the belfry.
Top floor of the belfry
Interior of the shrine of the Morninglord in the graveyard section near the Rectory

This map was greatly inspired by the Church of St. Andral from Curse of Strahd and so I wanted to be sure there was a large enough open space inside the church for a possible fight with a bunch of vamps and bat swarms. I also created a "massacre" version for the interior church to show the aftermath of a bunch of vamps breaking through the windows and slaughtering the townsfolk inside while your party rushes to defend them.

I also added a confessional, and while this mimics real-world religions (I try to keep my church maps somewhat agnostic, though they are obviously inspired by real-world churches) I thought it would be a neat feature to have secret conversations with the priest so others cannot hear, especially in discussing sensitive matters like the missing bones of St. Andral.

We all know Barovia is full of creepy kids, and in my games I've always made most of the kids creepy as a default setting. Yeska, the altar boy is no exception to this! I love the idea of a scared kid serving the church and the priest trying to ease his fear by telling him about the bones of St. Andral. I thought it would be fitting for little Yeska to have a small section of the church where he can sleep, and I felt it made sense for him to stay on the church grounds because he thinks the church is protected from the monsters outside. So, I added a small sleeping area for him in the attic of the church, allowing him to tend to his duties and feel safe. You'll find his sleeping area in the attic, and of course, it's full of creepy toys (Is no fun, is no Blinsky!) and even macabre drawings.

And lastly, I decided not to include the very small section under the alar for the bones, since in the book it was described as a very small area. However, if you're looking to expand out the crypt section below and even introduce it as its own dungeon crawl, I might recommend my maps: Catacombs of Forgotten Kings or The Catacombs of Castle Faunel.
For my Grand Library, Foundry, & Champion Tier patrons, this release contains the following:
3 Interiors maps for the Rectory, Church, Attic, and Belfry
A "Massacre" version for the ground level
Six Color Moods: Dark Fairytale, Ghostly, Gloom, Night, Sunny Day, & Warm
No Lights Version
8k & 4k Map Resolutions
Grid & NoGrid
Jpg & Webp File Types
Printable PDFs
For my Foundry & Champion Tier patrons, I should have the Foundry Module ready in about a day or so (just need to get it approved by Foundry, and I'll post the link).
This concludes my releases for April, but May is already underway! Next up, I'll be releasing my next map in the Lothburgh series, a new campaign setting currently being worked on by Lunch Break Heroes. This map will feature a single tavern called "The Three Beggar's". Additionally, I'll be working on the next map for Arc R in the DragnaCarta Reloaded series, which will include the frozen twin falls, which act as the backdrop for an epic fight!
And of course, on the Saltmarsh front, I'll be working on the smuggler tunnels under The Primewater Mansion, so lots of goodies coming up!
Lastly, I should be releasing five more Foundry modules from the back catalog within the week for my Foundry & Champion tiers, which will include: The Top of the Falls, Old Bonegrinder, Road to the Old Mill, VoB: Burgomaster's Mansion, and the City Docks.
I appreciate everyone's support immensely and am truly thankful and honored to see your belief in my work. I hope I can keep creating maps that inspire your games!
Cheers friends,
DM Andy
