Foundry VTT Release: The Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh

Version History

Hey everyone! I'm releasing my third map for Foundry, and I'm looking for feedback on the map setup as well as the UI (See this post for more details regarding feedback as well as an installation video).

Now, I present to you Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh, which is fully loaded and ready to go in Foundry!

This module is huge! It features the haunted house, restored house, and empty house versions of the entire map (exterior, 1st floor, 2nd floor, attic, and basement/cavern levels).

I hope you enjoy this build!

Required Modules:

Manifest URLs:

If you're new to Foundry, it's a simple three-step installation:

1. Click on Add-on Modules

2. Click on Install Module

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave some feedback! I 100% agree with you, and I think it would be incredible to include height and various levels. Originally, I wanted to use the Levels module, but I had to decide to keep things lightweight and faster or a bit on the heavier build side of things, which would also take more time to develop. I went with the former, as I have such a large back catalog, and I wanted to get them all converted over to Foundry modules as soon as possible. However, I do have a roadmap planned,d and it will include doing future updates to include options where you can select Levels in future builds. I also plan to add audio from Monument Studios to the modules, as well as animated maps in the future! So this is only the beginning of what I hope will be an amazing journey with Foundry :)

These are gorgeous, but I do wish they were utilizing elevations on the same map to move seamlessly. Especially for scenes like this where there could easily be split-level combats going on (my players ended up pulling some enemies back to the foyer with people on the second floor shooting down through the opening at the monsters).

I'm so glad! There are a LOT of versions on this one, but I do love how they all string together nicely.

I'm so glad you like it! I love how connected everything is and it was fun just moving a token from floor to floor :) A few notes on this one, some of the teleports are disabled by default because they are hidden locations (like the cave entrance outside, the attic on the haunted house version, and the basement secret door). This way your players don't accidentally toggle a prompt to teleport to a hidden location they have not found in-game. Once they find those locations, you can just toggle them on and it'll teleport those tokens to where they need to go.

This is great work..thank you so much

I love the way you get to click between the maps on this, really easy to switch from the different versions ^^
