Champion Tier - Burgomaster's Manor V2.0 - Interior | 40x30

Update March 27th, 2025: Attached Printable PDFs

Hello everyone, and happy New Release Monday! After many weeks of work fine-tuning this map, I'm so pleased to finally bring you the completed interior of the Burgomaster's Manor V2.0!

In case you missed it, last week I released the Exterior version which you can pick up here.

This map release contains the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and attic levels to compliment this sprawling but run-down manor.

From the moment you enter the foyer, your players will surely notice the shattered and boarded-up windows in every room. Stacks of boards, nails, and hammers can be found scattered around the home, as well as various religious symbols and wooden stakes telling the story of the continued siege of undead forces that have assaulted the manor.

The scent of death and lavender waft in from the drawing room as the body of Kolyan, the former Burgomaster, sits in a standard wooden coffin awaiting interment in the cemetery. As the dim fire crackles in the fireplace of the dining room, two places are set by the only two residents of the home. It is here where Ireena and Ismark devise a plan on what to do with the increased undead attacks and Strahd's fixation on the auburn-haired sibling. Meanwhile, the servant's quarters are emptied, having lost all their staff long ago.

Upstairs, you're greeted by a creepy long hallway adorned with doors leading to the various guest rooms showing their wear after many undead attacks.

Ismark bears the weight and loss of losing his father and potentially his sister while sitting in front of the fire of his bedroom. Meanwhile, as the tattered curtains flail in the howling wind, Ireena sits awake at night, staring at red stains of blood on her white fur rug and placing a hand over the burning vampire bite marks on her neck.

For my Champion Tier patrons, you will find the following in this map release:

It always feels like such an accomplishment to finish these large manor maps, and I love working on them so much! Next up, I'll be working on the next batch of "Winter's Grasp" maps, where I'll give three more locations a wintery overhaul. This will include Mad Mary's Townhome, Bildrath's Mercantile, and The Blood on the Vine Tavern.

As I move to the Salmtarsh front, I will work on a set of city dock maps that can be used as a generic location in town for all dock-related activity.

I'm also already planning for October and commissioning new art assets to use in some exciting new projects! Stay tuned for more updates on what I have planned for our favorite spooky month.

I hope you've enjoyed the Burgomaster's Manor and have plenty of fun introducing Ismark and Ireena to your party. I'll post up the sneak peek of the Winter's Grasp maps on Thursday!

Until then,

Cheers

DM Andy

Awesome!! Anything really specific like that I try to create versions without it too because it's nice to have a map more general use than something specifically tied to a module in such a way that it would be weird to use it in another campaign. I should go back and do a pass where I fix all the windows at some point haha.

This looks fantastic. Would it be possible to remove the body of Kolyan? I'm doing Dragnacarta's COS reloaded and he isn't dead when you first arrive at the manor. NEVER MIND. I see it's already done!

Josh has it right... simply stunning. I always thought the original versions were highly detailed, but these... WOW

Guru Sarx

Thank you for saying so!

Andy D'Amato

Stunning!

TOTALLY understandable, there is sooooo much in this module. Just going through and tweaking it to fit my player group and my personal preferences/changes it's a ton of work, I can't imagine everything that has to go into making the maps. I'm super excited to see your take on the orphanage!

That's so funny, the same thing happened with my party. They would not wait to get out of Vallaki fast enough! They ended up spending most of their time in Krezk much to my surprise and that ended up being a sort of player hub for them. Vallaki will take me a huge amount of time to re-work, but so I don't risk burn out, I'll be working on updating Krezk, Berez, Tsolenka, and other areas. Plan to see updates for pretty much everything else except for Argynvostholt and Ranvenloft (I'm pretty happy with those maps and if I do another map like those in the future, it'll be my own design). I'll also cover the Vallaki Orphanage this time around :)

That's what I thought when I was prepping it the first time ... and then that group of players was like "other than the vampires, none of these politics are our problem, ONWARD" and ... there went all that, LOL. Ended up not using anything other than MandyMod's orphanage, a main Vallaki map for the Feast, and St Andral's church. xD

Dee

Thank you so much!! This one has been by far one of my favorite manors to create.

Andy D'Amato

That's awesome!! With this map done, that'll be pretty much every map updated from the start of the game up to Bonegrinder (Which I'll have ready by the 1st week in Oct). After that...time for Vallaki! That'll be a beast :P

Andy D'Amato

Just in time for my new CoS campaign to kick off in October! I've already updated all my Death House maps and I'm super excited to add these.

Dee

These are so good! Well done!
