I'm excited to announce the completion of my latest map, The Weekly Market, inspired by the Saltmarsh series. This map features a bustling market located in the town square near the southern docks, where the people of Saltmarsh gather each week to sell their wares.
The market's proximity to the docks ensures it's the best place to find the freshest catch of the week! From fish to baked goods, honey, fine fabrics, art, produce, and all manner of supplies, there's something for everyone. Your adventuring party can take a well-earned break from fighting monsters to enjoy a kebab, dumplings, and a fresh pint of ale from the Salty Dwarf Brewing Co.

This map features the first well ever dug in Saltmarsh, surrounded by communal tables and marketplace stalls with steps leading to the docks in the south. Plenty of cart traffic goes by these busy streets as vendors call out to all who pass to sell their wares. Here, your players can pick up just about anything, including the tasty cuisines of Saltmarsh, including kababs, fresh roasted produce like corn, and even lobster dumplings!
I wanted to make this map feel busy and crowded while also creating depth with the housing rows to the sides. I also wanted to create varying heights with stone platforms built to act as foundations of the landscape tilting toward the coast.
This map would be perfect for finding a mark in the busy town square, having a chase sequence, or just a nice meeting space for various NPCs your party might interact with. No matter your use case, I hope this map is a versatile city map to slate into any campaign.

This has been a pretty busy month so far with the Vistani camp and Winter's Grap maps. I hope this map will introduce some sunshine to your games with a less dreary vibe!
Speaking of a dreary vibe, I'll finish this month with another road encounter map. This time, I'll take some inspiration from Barovia beyond the Tser Falls and onto the winding, hilly road that leads to the Old Mill. For this next map, I want to focus more on a more open, windy, and twisting road as it snakes its way through a country hillside. I feel like this area would include a lot of flat/hilly terrain with the placement of windmills, which will help add some diversity to your games. I've also commissioned some amazing masses of thorny brambles, and I want to use this as a way to visually show the subtle corruption of the land by the presence of the powerful Night Hags that reside in the Old Mill.
That's all for now! I hope you continue to enjoy my work and THANK YOU for your continuous support of my craft. None of this would be possible without you and I can't thank you all enough.
Cheers,
DM Andy
