Hello everyone, and happy New Release Monday! Today, I am releasing the next installation from my Saltmarsh-inspired series, which covers the city's Council Hall. This building acts as the center for all political decisions and criminal executions made in town. It includes seats for all five council members to conduct all law-making and decisions that help shape the town.
This map comes with three core versions:
Exterior View: This view of the building facade features the balcony, on which sentences are read, and, of course, the square and gallows below. The surrounding area is a larger, built-up concentration of homes, as this government building is in the most dense area of town. Additionally, you can see the larger tower displaying the signal horn. This horn is used to signal town executions and other larger affairs.
1st Floor: This floor includes the reception area, where townsfolk are greeted and their issues are stated. Here, they wait to be called to see the council. Next up, we have the grand hall, which includes statues from historical figures as well as access to the upper level and council chambers. Next, we have the council chambers, where a semi-circular desk surrounds those being heard by the council. All five members meet here to make new laws and city decisions and carry out sentences.
2nd Floor: Here you can find all five offices for the council members, each reflecting their station and personality. You can also find the large records hall, which contains records of all council decisions, former council members, laws, and sentences that have been carried out. There is also access to the upper tower where the horn is blown to assemble the townsfolk for an execution or other large town affair.
This map release comes with the following:
3 Core maps; 1st floor, 2nd floor, roof level

As we finish off the month, I have a nature map on deck next, which will feature the top of a large waterfall as it rushes downward thousands of feet below! This will be a great map for a highly dangerous encounter and pairs well with my Falls Bridge map, which will be below the falls. I am also working on a very exciting project with my commissioned artist, which will support our dear friends, the Vistani, which I hope to work on next month! My goal is to be able to get a custom Vistani Wagon (Vardo) created and licensed so that I might distribute the .png file. This way you can use this wagon on any map!
I'm very fortunate I've been able to expand DM Andy Maps with fully customized artwork and support fellow artists as well. This is all thanks to you ALL and your continued support of my map making efforts! I cannot thank you enough and I'm going to keep saying it over and over again...THANK YOU!
Cheers,
DM Andy
