Hey everyone! I wanted to create this monthly summary post to highlight the newest maps I posted this month along with their download links. I think this will be a great way to recap all the work I did over the last month before heading into the new month.
I finished one of the biggest city maps I've ever done! Inspired by the Village of Barovia, this massive project features 27 full interior locations, some with multiple floors.

Some buildings have second and even third floors, and I also created a variant with Death House in the town for those of you who want to run it inside the village rather than on its own.
With a 40x60 map with tons of buildings to explore, you'll surely find something to spark your encounter material with this map!
Next, on the Saltmarsh front, I created Kester's Leathergoods & Tannery. This 40x30 map features two locations: the leather shop/house and the tannery, where all new hides are processed and turned into leathergoods.
This is a great quest hub location where players can turn in recovered hides from various beasts and monsters they have slain out in the wilds and earn some good coin!

This marks the 10th location I've mapped out inspired by the Saltmarsh module, and I will eventually have all 30 locations of the town and surrounding area!
Drawing inspiration from the Village of Barovia, I've created a detailed townhome for the sorrowful character of Mary, who is grappling with the recent disappearance of her daughter. In a protective, yet ultimately futile effort to safeguard her daughter, Mary went to great lengths, including boarding up all the windows to prevent her from sneaking out. However, her daughter Gertruda, fueled by tales of fantasy and adventure, yearned for her own escapades. Ignorant of the perils that lurk within the surrounding woods, she embarked on an ill-fated journey, leaving behind the haunting echoes of Mary's despair in the desolate streets.
I've been working on my map-making process by incorporating enhanced perspective techniques to add greater detail and depth to the buildings. This approach has significantly influenced my style, bringing me much creative joy, especially in decorating the exteriors of the buildings. Included in the download link are the exterior map and the layouts for floors 1 and 2.
Concluding this month's work, I revisited and revitalized one of my earlier map designs inspired by the River Ivlis Crossroads. This scene is distinguished by the gallows at the crossroads, where numerous individuals met their end for defying the local lords or even Strahd himself. Opposite this site of execution lies an ancient, weather-beaten graveyard, densely packed with the graves of the executed. To enhance the versatility of this map, I created an alternate version without the gallows.
This project is part of a broader initiative where I've been revisiting maps I crafted years ago. It's crucial for me to not solely focus on creating new maps but also to refine existing ones. By updating these maps, I aim to incorporate advanced techniques, styles, and assets, ensuring they remain vibrant and relevant.
That's a wrap for March. I am looking forward to upcoming projects I have in store for April, including a huge manor map and the next Saltmarsh location: The Hoolwatch Tower.
Thanks, as always, for your continued support!
Cheers,
DM Andy
